We just dropped in here intending to have a beer before crossing the bridge back to Slovakia. However, we decided we might as well have dinner, as we still had quite a few forint in our pockets. Being a bit in a hurry to catch a train back to Bratislava, we went for the day's offer. Grilled chicken with 4... More

Ate at this restaurant twice whilst visiting the area, the food was top quality with excellent service. The portions are very generous, would recommend the T bone steak or the lamb shank, both were excellent. The restaurant is also in a nice setting and has a lovely terrace.

The restaurant was big, but was pretty busy. It had live music, a good guitarist. The setting was nice. Both the seeded chicken and feta salad and the slow-cooked duck were very good, as were the Somloi(?) sponge and the profiteroles. The cost was very reasonable, and the service discreet but cheerful.

We visited this restaurants at Sunday afternoon, it was busy, but they gave us table in few minutes, the waiters were so friendly, and the food was excellent and the prices are OK as well. I can recommend this to everybody.

Good location, friendly service, good choice of dishes and hungaryans wines, it is possible to choose among several kind of meat. Careful presentation of dish. Not expensive. I suggest to test the restaurant because it is suitable to please each sense of taste.

We expected for a good quality of food, based on the no.1 rating!! It is on a nice place at the brigde of Maria-Valeria, and also the restaurant is beautiful. We were with family, and they didn't help us to take care of babies food, or seat. There wasn't enough place for us. We tought, that the food will be... More

Based on the no.1 rating of restaurants in Esztergom we expected somewhat better. Although the name of the restaurant might suggest Italian style dishes, Mediterraneo serves a traditional Hungarian kitchen. Meals are decent (and big) but doesn't have an extra edge or something surprising. I had Wild Boar in Red Wine sauce. They served some fried flour balls. Those were... More

I arrived about 8.30 pm on a Friday night without a reservation in a packed restaurant, but they managed to find me a table within a few minutes in the conservatory adjoining the main dining room. Actually, they eat early here,so by 9 pm there were quite a few empty table. The decor and furniture are modern and airy, not very fancy,but... More
