Real piece of history

If you want to be convinced that Budapest was a wealthy urban center in the early 20th century, take 10 minutes to ride on continental Europe's first metro. London, New York and then Budapest installed the world's first subways.

Nice, friendly staff. Fresh ingredients, great taste. The best option for a such a picky person like me, who hates regular fast food

It's the only subway that was actually on the right spot on this map, i couldn't find the other ones, so my advice is to look for this one only. The sandwiches are awesome and there's a big variety of choices. You can also get cookies and coffee here.

The quality of the food is questionable and it is quite overpriced. I think there are many other fast food restaurants I would rather prefer to eat in.

The bread was not really fresh. Some bread types weren't available. Staff had no idea abou the daily sub. It is extremely overpriced, you can eat in a proper restaurant with waiters for the same price.

Built in the Soviet era with their technology, rather a lot of it is now looking sad and worn out. But the trains run fast and roughly every 3 minutes all hours of the day, and get you there.

If you want to eat breakfast outside and you do not want to waste much time (better use it for sightseeing:)) you should go to Subway and try their sandwiches!

Marvellous way of getting around. We had a 48hr bus ticket, but if we wanted to get somewhere quick-sharpish we used the subway. Cheap, regular and clean. Useful to have coins for ticket vending machines as we had difficulty using notes - they were repeatedly ejected from the machine and we sometimes had to walk to the next stop where... More

If one wants a sandwich, could get better sandwiches, though th quality is th same all around the world, so if you'd like to eat a known food, you'll like it.
