It's a cosy restaurant in the heart of our capital, Budapest. Although located in a side street one can easily find it. If you want to enjoy real (not fake) Italian food, you should visit them. A really great Italian! An excellent menu of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes, coupled with phenomenally good service. In addition to an A La Carte, there is also a seasonal selection plus daily ‘from the market’ choices. Prices: IRO 3000 HUF for a main course (approx £7) - but prices varied quite a bit between dishes. Our 3 course meal... More

Spotted this restaurant on our way back to hotel and when we checked trip advisor ratings decided to give it a go. Superb find, wonderful food, attentive service, great wine list competitively priced and overall great value, a hit with all the family, a little bit of Italian magic in Budapest. We will be back for sure 👍

I would like to start by saying the food is of a good quality. But why the poor rating, I hear you say. The problem was that my wife asked for her steak to be well cooked and she received a medium cooked and quite bloody steak. The waiter confirmed that the order was for a well cooked steak and... The menu & the place are encouraging, there was even a seasonal (truffle) menu; the location is convenient, downtown. The wine list is decent, including even premium surprises such as supertuscan wines. But then the food arrived: - the vitello tonato was prepared using the lowest quality ingredients possible: cold cut meat (I presumed cheap pork cold cut, the waiter... More

Were here a Friday night with a friend and we were looking for an Italian restaurant. We got a table quickly and introduced to the menu. We decided for three main courses. Pasta with mushrooms, chicken/mozarella/vegetables and veal/risotto. Pasta was really good, mushrooms just ok. The other two dishes was also good. We didn't try any wine, but next time... More

A smallish place but with a reservation for a friday night, we easily got a table for the same night. We got very good service from our waiter, almost too respective where as the plase might need a bit of cozyness with the atmosphere. The menu was very Italian with daily specials and all. Everything we ate was extremely delicious... More
