Very nice tourist trap :-)

We got what we expected: Good service, OK food and a special atmosphere. All in all a good experience. Minus for not offering water when we ordered wine.

This restaurant is of a quite rare type: it takes you back into the middle ages. Experience the huge plates of delicacies (to be eaten by hand, knife and spoon). Enjoy the array of live performances throughout the evening. Groups welcome. It is highly recommended that you reserve your seats, especially on weekends.Very well adapted to foreign tourists, but we... More

I'm going to start off saying im disgusted by the fact this isn't advertised as the best place to go in Budapest. And I'm appuled that I only learned of its existence through my hotel receptionist. Because this. People of Trip advisor. Is very possibly. One of the best nights out you'll have in your entire trip. The food may... More

Medieval restaurant with authentic dressed staff, entertainment, and food. Family style meals serve more than they say. Meal for four could easily serve 5-6 people. Be prepared to eat medieval style with no fork and only a spoon and knife.

Great with a group ... caters for vegetarians as well .. good food but you have to be light hearted and prepared to get your hands dirty. Loved the fact you had bibs to wear and just a spoon and knife. Tressle tables and a great showcase too. The guy with the swords was amazing. You will really enjoy the... More

You cannot be the entertainment or the food here. Been a number of times when in Budapest and it never fails to entertain. Getting to dig in to the massive meat and vegetable with your bare hands adds to the fun. Having been a number of times the entertainment was getting a bit predictable, but on this visit they had... Well if you are up for a bit of innocent fun, lots of food especially meat, and using your fingers this this the place. Bit surprised that our waiter was not as jolly as you would expect considering the theme. But if you have a sense of humer you could have a good time.

This is by far the most enjoyable restaurant I have found. Great show inside. Food is excellent with very large meat portions. We tried pork, soups and burgers. everything great.
