Quality food when you need a break from Hungarian cuisine

Needed a break from heavy Hungarian fare so went to this place for lunch. Had a glass of wine, water, grilled veggies and a lovely bean soup for $15 cad or so, so not dirt cheap but not so bad either. The food was refreshing and tasty. Would eat again!

Fantastic italian food. A group of us went including some with allergies and the waiter took great care to explain what was in the dishes and what we could and couldn't eat

Ate here twice during a short break in the city, once at Toscana and once at its sister restaurant next door (there's only one menu and kitchen). The staff were really helpful and accommodating and the food tasty and good value. They even made up a dish for me - a seafood risotto - because the risotto choice on the... More

This was our best meal in Budapest. Hate to say, considering this was in Budapest, capital of Hunagarian food, but we loverd this restaurant. Great nighttime views of Buda and a really authentic Italian place. I loved my pici with cingalli and others loved the simple but tasty flat crust pizzas. All washed down with a very nice Hungarian Cabernet... More

We have been in the restaurant in six. I ordered goose liver as appetiser and the osso buco with French fries as main course. All in all, the food was very good, though the amount was way too much. Also, the restaurant has quite a nice atmosphere, as it is a bit darker, yet romantic. The location at the Donau... More

We found this gem online, and had heard that it was quite difficult to book into, but took our chances anyway and arrived at about 6.30pm on a week night and managed to get a space! And thank goodness we did because the food was incredible. My partner had the duck lasagne, and I had a mozzarella pasta dish, and... More

I could not rate that restaurant with less than 5/5! The food, the flavours, the wine were indescribable and so was the service! Excellent quality, very helpful and pleasant staff! *Mario (the chef) is going the restaurant to a whole other level! Pizza and spaghetti were best than the ones that we had in Rome! Congratulations!! We are sending our... More
