We had lunch outside at the terrace, overlooking the Danube river. The weather was tropical but with the sunshades down, the spot was lovely. The fresh food was good and we all enjoyed our meal. For some reason, just after we started our main course, a waiter took up the sunshade and immediately we were sitting on the heat. They... More

4 of us sat outside for dinner. Great open view of the Danube, some of the bridges, and a castle, which were all lit up. Good pasta, wine, beer. Very friendly waiter. Would definitely go back. Was recommended by hotel concierge and tour company,

During a long weekend we visited the Trattoria Toscana Friday 4th July and it was one of the best meals I have had in years. Great service and while slightly pricey was well worth it. Great views over the danube. Recommend the tenderloin steak! TOP DRAW

Visited here on a busy Friday night without reservation. Got seated straight away and service was quick. Restaurant is in an ideal location next to the Danube and food was amazing. Definitely recommend visiting this place.

As I said, I had the tomato soup of my life, so far. We just dropped in for a small snack, but the main dishes deffinetly looked worth to try.

Our guide recommended this restaurant for being on the Danube and serving good food; we were lucky as we arrived there early to find a table in the limited outdoor seating. The view was fine but not as expected. The reception was nice; the service was good and relatively quick, but the food was not to our expectation. The Rocket... More

The food was very good quality and perfect portion sizes. We had 2 courses and wine and it was less than £30! If we go back to Budapest we would... More

we enjoyed a delicious pizza as a first course and their fish, branzino, baked in sea salt which was fabulous! Such a pleasant surprise, we knew we would enjoy a good meal when we heard some customers speaking italian. That's usually a good gauge!

We were on our way to Gepard es urhajo on our hotels recommendation. When we got there it was completely empty (8pm on Sat night!). So we walked straight past as it looked sterile and completely lacking in atmosphere. We ended up at Toscana by accident and got the last table. Simply lovely and very authentic Italian. Excellent food with... More
