The eggplant spread is the main reason I go to this restaurant. Sorry, cant remember the official name. Its one of the tapas dishes. Anywaaaay, the wine options are lovely too. The place has a nice atmosphere. It isnt too pricey. I used to go here once a week until I moved away.

If saddle of rabbit wrapped in bacon with a side of pumpkin mash sounds up your ally, then I would recommend this place to you. The meal was great and the dessert (a chocolate soufflet) was spectacular. The service was pretty good and the prices were about what they should have been for the quality of food.

Particularly in warm weather, on the shady terrace. Service friendly and efficient. I'm curious at complaints of portion size - I found them generous. There are three varieties of mixed tapas platters (vegetarian, meat and fish) excellent for sharing as a starter or a good main course. Good for a relaxing evening or lunch. I highly recommend it. Prices reasonable.

Good but not great food; tiny portions (we literally ordered a fourth entree to split among three people -- and yes we had appetizers). The service was slow (fairly typical for Budapest -- they don't have the same pace as many western cities); dishes were fine but not creative; nice location but not a lot of ambience. I'd rather go... More

This is a very solid restaurant with a nice (and somewhat interesting) menu - especially for Budapest. Prices are good and service is always excellent (again, a rarity in BP). Also nice atmosphere and very nice covered outdoor area. Recommend.

Ket is a nice Budapest restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a solid kitchen. But beware the 10% tips which are automatically added to every check (not the custom in Hungary). My favorite meal there is breakfast.

We came to have Mother's Day lunch. I had the monk fish, which was really nice. Maybe a bit too much of the mash. Mum had the chicken risotto. It was really creamy and just the way it should be. For drinks they have a good selection, much better than the draft beer. They had the regular drafts, but more... More

My wife, toddler 2yo daughter and I had a quiet early dinner at Ket Szerecsen bistro situated in a quiet street close to Andrassy blvd. If you wanted to eat on the terrace during that nice spring afternoon/ evening you had to book a table in advance. The staff at the hotel booked it for us 3 hours in advance,... More
