Do not go here when you just want to dig in or need huge amounts of food to satisfy your hunger. Go when you have an appetite for exquisite dishes, accompanied by perfectly matching wines. The cooking is perfect, with beautifully arranged dishes, concentrated flavors and exciting combinations based on the haute cuisine philosophy and heavily influenced by Hungarian traditional... More

Some evaluate this restaurant as a place for lunch. With 4 or 8 courses this place is more suitable for dinner. The two menus to choose between can both be divided into 4 or 8 courses. The choice was not easy. We went for one of the 8 course menus with a wine package and were fully satisfied. Attentive waiters,... More

Creative, tasty and good looking interpretation of Hungarian food. Great value tasting menu, you can pick your 4 courses if you don't feel up to all 8. Very nice matching Hungarian wines. Service is flawless, ambience decent but not posh. The space is small and limited opening hours, so book your table inadvance.

You have two tasting menus with 8 dishes at HUF 13000 each with a wine menu of around 8000-10000 HUf. The dishes are small and excellent and inspired of the nouveau french cuisine. This is a combination of goose liver, fish, meat and desserts. The wines are all hungarian. Everything is outstanding. The quality of the food is tremendous and it... More

We went to this restaurant for my wife's birthday and had the eight course menu with wine. The majority of the food was delicious the starter of cream goats cheese was little insipid and the chick peas on the paprika makeral was hard and portions were very small. Overall it was good particularly the wines which were a revelation to... More

I came here for lunch and it was my first high level dining experience in Budapest. I have to say it was a great introduction to the cuisine in Budapest. I initially thought they had a reduced price menu for lunch, but I don't think that was the case and the locals that followed in after me were getting the... More

Had a four-course dinner, without the wine pairing. More value for money with wine pairing (alas!) Concoction of food and tasted was supreme. Service was excellent. Wine expertise very refined with a dedicated sommelier for the purpose. Asked some questions about origin of some ingredients which were promptly checked with the chef and answered to. Compared to other Hungarian restaurants,... More

Excellent restaurant if you are staying in Buda. They provide a set menu of 4 or 8 courses with optional wine tasting. We went for 4 courses with our own choice of wine (staff were more than happy to discuss and recommend wines). We had 1x3 and 1x4 glasses of different Hungarian wines - all really excellent. The cooking is... More
