Klassz was recommended by a friend who lives in Budapest and we weren't disappointed. Great food, good value and pleasant service. We went two evenings out of our three there and would have been happy to go again. For me the highlight was fresh Blackberry Soup to start, served with a dollop of vanilla icecream. The waiter's wine recommendation for... More

Salmon tartare was excellent, as was the trout with roasted basil vegetables and duck with dill squash. The winelist was a little bit too complicated for me, so we drank beer. The desserts, rice pudding and berry crumble, were ok. Service was fairly good too. I would defintely recommend this bistro/restaurant.

We returned for a dinner after 2 years passed. The restaurant itself did not change but the mentality of the staff is different... Before taking our orders, the waiter recommended a main course which was not on the menu. Of course it was more expensive then any other menu items but it tasted like something left from lunch... The mains... More

We had dinner here after it being recommended by Viking and several guides and it was an excellent choice. The charming waitress was very informative even getting us a recipe for the delicious rice pudding we so enjoyed. I had the duck and it was very tender and tasty over a squash that tasted like pasta in cream sauce -... More

Food was excellent, especially the duck liver. One of us also had a delicious duck salad. Soups were wonderful especially the fresh pea soup. Superb wine list, both by the glass & by the bottle. Serving staff very pleasant & helpful. Prices reasonable. Convenient location on Andrassy Street.

This resto is well located on Andrássy utca near Octogone. You cannot make reservations which is also a plus point because you always get a table. Behind the resto there is a wine shop from Bortársaság. The Food is good but the great thing is that you have a huge wine list to drink by the glass. So you can... More

A small local bistro with simple, short menu. Food is great, service is great, and location is almost I'm the middle of town.

We had one of the best meals in Budapest at Klassz. The bistro has a chilled out atmosphere with helpful staff, who were spot on with their recommendations for wine. The food was delicious, simple and beautifully presented. I enjoyed my pea soup with poached egg starter so much that I had it a second time when we returned, and... More

A lovely friendly bistro with an interesting local wine list. We had the goose liver starter, 2 whole liver pieces at a fraction of the price you would pay in England, Excellent. The trout was well cooked but the meat skewer specials were a little over cooked and dry. Waiter service was a little hit or miss but efficient enough... More
