Be warned: the portions are huge. American sized huge. And delicious. Grilled duck liver is a must. Great wine selection and a possibility to order by 100ml glasses makes it a great alternative to cellar visit (especially when the cellar is closed, which was just the case at the day of our visit). Also, the waiter always pours a dash... More

Klassz has a bistro kitchen providing tasty, understandable and beautiful dishes made of mainly local ingredients. Hungarian cuisine tradition works as a strong basis while contemporary creativity and a French accent made themeal really exciting. Seasonally renewed menu card and remarkable selection of surprisingly good Hungarian wines invited me back. Pork tenderloin with sweet potato and morel ragout is my... More

After reading many reviews we finally settled on Klassz for our last night out in Budapest. We decided to go a little early due to an early rise in the morning. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time and the staff were very welcoming. Tried a variety of local wines with our meal and found everything... More

We took pot luck and chose to go in as everybody there looked happy and content. Excellent simple food and I can only agree with the reviewer who praised the pork - it was quite superb. Pleasant atmosphere, good food, pleasant staff and it all added up to a very enjoyable evening.

We enjoyed an evening meal at Klassz before attending a concert at the Basilica. The food was good, well prepared and sizeable portions - in particular the roasted cheese starter and the butterfish fillet were excellent. Service was good and the wine selection excellent. There is even a very well stock wine shop at the back of the restaurant if... More

Vela ragout and "special Hungarian pork" are both religious experiences. Do not miss. Service friendly and knowledgable. Cool decor and atmosphere. Great selection of Hungarian wine.

We ate at Klassz twice whilst in Budapest and were seriously impressed. The food was terrific, the wine absolutely fabulous, which surprised us, and the ambience wonderful. We started with duck liver on both occasions and we had the pork Budapest style. Don't bother going if you're not too hungry as the portion sizes are very generous. We sat towards... More

We had dinner in Klassz three times. The food is outstanding and the service is very friendly. The sommelier was competent and his recommendations were great. The ranking is to low.

I stopped here for lunch and was very glad I did. The atmosphere is nice (and you can sit outside which is great) and the food and service are as well. Now, it is a bit pricy (an entree and Diet Coke came to $18.50 before tip) but the food is delicious. I had the beef neck in wine sauce... More

Great meal before going to Opera. Nice atmosphere surrounded by walls full of wine for sale as well as drinking in restaurant. Venison and duck main courses - typically Hungarian and good value with huge choice of wine.
