Great food, great wines, beautiful restaurant. Dining outside was very pleasant. The restaurant is next door to the Hungarian State Opera House.

Historic building, great location, but just didn't quite live up to my expectations, and I am not even sure why, the staff were OK, the food was OK, everything was just OK. We went for an evening meal - it may have a completely different vibe in the day

We were in this restaurant by chance after visiting the opera. And this was the perfect continuation of the evening! We chose the duck on a hot dish and it was excellent. Recommended wine was brilliant - we photographed the label of the wine and then bought a couple of bottles in the wine boutique. Dinner was accompanied by great... More

We were 6 people and had diner two times in the evening. The food was very good, sometimes perfect, very nice vibe with live music (sat, and sun.). Wine was very expensive.

Set alongside the Opera House, of all of the restaurants visited this was my favourite, it had an ambience all of its own. Service was impeccable and the food (classic Hungarian cuisine) was exceptional, which was eaten while listening to live music recitals. It was probably the most expensive meal while we were in Budapest, but worth every penny!

Loved the building...we were told it was over 100 years old and just looked amazing! Prices were strangely value for money, for being such a posh place. We made a reservation, which was wise, though I did wonder why it was quiet when we went, as the day before we couldn't get a reservation. Turns out it gets busy when... More

My wife and I had been out all morning visiting the castle and then came to walk up Andrassy ut. Feeling a bit hungry and needing a lunch break we had the good fortune to stop here where we sat with a view of the opera house and the busy boulevard. We both enjoyed a gazpacho soup with cucumber sorbet... More

The restaurant is situated just next to the Opera, the location and is very convenient for a lunch, dinner or even just a break for a coffee. Anyway, the lovely decoration and atmosphere is totally worth it, you will be transpointted in another era! The cuisine is very exquisite (a mix between the international and the local one). The dessert... More
