The Spoon as a restaurant boat is located in the central spot of Budapest-Hungary. This 75m engine less fine dining event and restaurant place is able to provide it's services in 365 days. From top it has two hugh terraces and an additional one with glass sided walls, the winter garden. On the middle level we have two different designed restaurants, we call them the "Cafe" wich is more like a real fine dining hall and the "Lounge", that is a luxury relax eating area. As an additional service we provide a night club in the bottom level, with direct access from the Lounge. It's design is about the arabican fantasy, it's called the "The Oriental". On each level we have a full kitchen, that makes the Spoon able to serve every type of event and customer in different timing and every season of the year. Our goal is to give high quality service to the corporate events, private parties and of course as the location the Sponn is right on the most wanted spot of Budapest, we are a must see restaurant.

Definitely worth a visit.

Spoon is in a fantastic location and easy to find. It's hard to believe you're actually on a boat. It's blush and adorned with Swarovski crystals that glisten as the boat gently moves. Like many places with a great location, you end up paying for it on the food. The food was good overall though but the drinks are quite pricey. Desert ( melting chocolate ball) was super.

This restaurant has to be reviewed for three reasons the food, the service and the location. The food is most definitely Hungarian with Michelin star treatment. Each of our 3 courses were well presented and very tasty. The portions were very good no nouvelle cuisine here. We can recommend the Goulash soup, the chicken with coconut and the pork tenderloin.... Not cheap but fantastic service, view and food. Thank you to our excellent waiters Peter and Michael! Recommend the angus beef and for the gentlemen, use the toilet with a view!

We start off this story by almost getting a burger, almost... then not getting one, traveling past all the usual tourist traps and ending up looking at the Danube river lusting for food. We finally get to the place, and it's BIG, when it says café, lounge and restaurant, they mean it. It's three places all rolled into one, with... More

Went for an evening meal over the easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The view from the restaurant is up there with the best I have seen anywhere on my travels and is best after dark. The food is modern hungarian and every one of the three courses was delicious and excellently presented. The service was faultless with friendly... More

We had a romantic dinner at Spoon which we will never forget! The service was amazing and the food was top nodge! The view over the castle was simply amazing. It is more expensive than the average restaurant in Budapest, but it´s all worth it!

The restaurant is very well located on a boat on the Danube with fantastic views of the castle. Service is flawless, food presentation great, but tasted disappointing. We were three people and all unhappy. Too bad:-(

The location of this restaurant is fantastic as it is inside a stationery boat. The service is also great. However the food is really bad and i am talking appertisers and main dishes too. We ordered the rack of lamb and it was undercoocked and also the duck breast that tasted aweful. And to top it all up, the whole... More
