Quite good and close to Hotel Victoria. It is not fine dining, but it is good food at an outside table on the river in a good location. We ate at others nearby and they were not good.

We dined at Carne Di Hall on a wet and windy evening so did not fully appreciate the superb view of Parliament across the river.
The food was excellent but the service was on the slow side particularly since the restaurant was not full.
We shared the fish platter starter which I followed with the Salmon Risotto my wife had...

I came here because it was the highest ranked restuarant to Buda Castle. We tried the set meal and the dishes that was served was very unusual and good! Not exactly a international food but more hungrarian food. The service was also very friendly and attentive and most incredibly the set meal was only the equivalent of five euro! Worth...

We dropped in for a late afternoon drink. We were waited on promptly and enjoyed our drinks. However, we waited an inordinate amount of time for our check. The staff never looked our way after they served the drinks, even when we tried to get their attention. Finally had to get up to obtain check and pay.
Whether you like Hungarian dishes or you like international food, you will find here what you are looking for. I have been to this place 10+ times, and I was always satisfied. The service is very polite, and the dishes are excellent. On weekdays they have a lunch menu for a very reasonable price (around 5 EUR), which is the...

Not many good places to eat on the Buda side, this basement restaurant may not be charming or cozy. But it offers well prepared dishes, friendly English-speaking service, and good Hungarian wines at a very reasonable price. Its name is quirky, a combination of Italian for "Meats" and "Hall" for market hall--we were told, but they also offer fish and...

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Amazing food and cozy atmosphere. The goose leg with cabbage and potatoes was outstanding. The wine was also very-very good. Worth visiting. And great value for money as well.
We went here based on reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and excellent value for money. The staff were great too and so friendly. Unfortunately we went near the end of our holiday otherwise we would have gone back another night!
I was travelling through europe and was robbed in the night train from Belgrade to Budapest, losing my money, my credit cards and my passport.
After several hours filing reports at the police station and the embassy I was starving but had absolutely no money with me.
I walked into several restaurants asking for food and was rejected and kicked...

it was quite late and we dropped in without reservation. The waiters are young and flexible as we wanted something special, both for starters and main courses. The kitchen did a good job on this, but renewing the classic style Hungarian dishes is not that easy as it seems. For a foreigner it might be confusing, for a local person...
