Description: Dionysos moved to the Pest bank of the River Danube on New Year's Eve 1993 and has since delighted the dwellers of our city with delicacies of Greek cuisine and delicious wine of its vineyards. The air is filled with the fragrance of char-grilled meats and fishes, fresh-cut vegetables and crispy-baked homestyle bread. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere, diners chit-chat casually around the tables, which blends pleasantly into the melodies of Greek music playing in the background. It is good to be in this restaurant. The pampering feeling of authentic entertainment accompanies the guests from the moment they enter up until they leave. We hope you visit us soon so that we may entertain you for a few hours here in little Greece of Budapest!

This was another great experience In Budapest! It was a great evening enjoying some Greek culture And food!! A great choice of beer and wine. Service was outstanding and the view from the front was exceptional! The best part was the food! I will return and highly recommend the place!

Delicious Greek food and in an amazing location. Have been there 3 times and loved everything each time. Ask to sit outside as the views of the bridge are stunning. Food is affordable, not the most expensive resturant in Budapest but certainly not the cheapest. . Worth reserving a table as it gets quite busy.

I have been in this restaurant several times. Last time was todays lunch. I read that people complain about the price. I dont honestly think it is an expensive restaurant, the quality of the food that is given is worth it (big time)! I loved it, we had very tasty sea food, which is a miracle in Budapest. There is... Excellent Greek food, OK price for dinner but expensive lunch. Good service. Recommend for dinner over lunch (no lunch menu, but for many dishes they offer a ½ portion for 70% of price).

Would not recommend sitting outside in summer before dark. We are from Queensland and thought we could handle heat but we were there at 7pm & were sweating in the shaded seats outside. The meat platter - Dionysos Platter - is filling but you may a premium. We have had better, less expensive food and better service at other restaurants... More

This Greek restaurant has been around for more than two decades now and brings in real Greek atmosphere. On the weekends there is live Greek music. Food is excellent, huge portions made of fresh ingredients. Even seafood comes fresh every day. Seasonal items, ie the raspberry-nut cake are a must try.

While on the number 2 tram along the Danube, my wife and I noticed this Greek restaurant. After eating goulash all week we decided to check this place out. So you ask, why go to a Greek restaurant in Budapest? Simply because it's the best meal we had all week. A large selection of dishes, well decorated, served promptly and... More

I feel like I already summarized everything in the title. :) I loved this place even it is expensive and they messed up my order. You can also find wheat flour free and diary free main dish just ask for help. A good choice if you are more interested in Greek cuisine than the fast food gyros.

We had a perfect dinner last night here: we did not miss anything. Maybe the wine selection is a bit narrow, but you would not anyway expect a long wine-list in a Greek restaurant. The meals are authentic, the service is very friendly and accurate. The stifado we had as main course is worth to try, as well as the... More
