We were staying at the Meridien hotel and it the weather was too bad to go outside. So we chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and were quite satisfied. Limited but good choice and great quality. Very interesting wine list with plenty of choice by the glass. Professional service. Make sure to leave some room for the desserts!

I had a lovely lunch, but you get what you pay for. Nice choice, although the board that reads "3 course lunch for 5000" is a bit economical with the facts. The budget lunch is 3 types of cold soups, followed by 3 really odd choices for mains and then frozen yoghurt for dessert. I paid extra and had nice... More

I've eaten here about five times in the last ten years. In my opinion the cuisine has gone from excelent to good to below average over this time. There has also been a shift from being a predominantly French restaurant serving the odd Hungarian dish to a very mixed menu that excells in nothing. The most disappointing part of the... More

We ate here for breakfast all three mornings as it was included in our already very reasonable room price. Nothing spectacular, but very good. We also had a very nice dinner there on a Thursday night featuring traditional food, dancers and music. Again, nothing spectacular, but a solid value considering the show and overall experience.

Average breakfast buffet - $75+ couple. Service was OK but hard to justify price. Trying to burn off upgrade credit.

The sauce and the potato for the Halibut was not hot. The atmosphere was great and the waiter was nice.

I've tried a few brunch spots here in town and I must say le meridien is my favorite. Great selection, service and probably the best dessert section out of all the hotel brunches. Coming back again for sure.

Le Bourbon is Le Meridien's French style restaurant. The decor and atmosphere were as you can expect from a four star hotel restaurant. The menu had an ok variety and included seasonal dishes. They were well presented however we had the impression that they used the left of from the breakfast. It is really sad from a four star hotels... More

The waiters! Professional, kind, very well-trained and with an obvious respect towards their profession (timing, style). The atmosphere was of what could be termed as 'times gone by' and by that I mean the surroundings were elegant, not over-bearing and comfortable with soft, live, music accompanying the experience (solo harp player). The meal in total was of a high standard,... More
