One of our friends passed this restaurant on a walk around the city. We were going to return for lunch until we checked our notes and read about the good reviews on TripAdvisor. We then decided to return for dinner. The food was good, not great but it fit our expectations. This is a mid price bistro serving french bistro... more

The lunch menu special should be labeled tourist rip-off. The soup was tasteless and after 2 bites we left the main course -paid??? - silly us !! and left. Having had some excellent meals here thanks to recommendations on Trip Advisor - I'm doing my bit. Don't go! more

great location at the intersection of two streets fronting a square, very parisian. but i think the owners are resting on their laurels and attempting to fleece the tourist who is not in the know. the food was ok, not the best by hungarian standards, but certainly nothing to write home about. what really got up my nose was when... more

When I think back to what I ate at this place I feel sick to my stomach. It was a beautiful location and had a very nice lunch there. But I ordered a Pasta Carbonara and they brought it out with an unopened yoke on the top. I figured 'when in rome' and ate it up. About 24 hours later... more

The terrace and the location make this one of the central meeting places of town. The french bistrot charm, nice breakfast, very good chocolate desserts, good value lunch set menus and variations of local food make for a pleasant formula, specially if you can sit outside. In the evening live kitch music spoils things for me. Some serious defects should... more

Excellent food from a wide ranging menu, which we didn't feel was overpriced compared to other Budapest restaurants. We sat outside, every table was taken and the atmosphere was lively. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Recommended! more

Best breakfast spot my wife and I came across in Budapest. Good food, nice ambiance and reasonable service. And as has been said, very convenient to the centre of town I will go back again on my next visit to Budapest. more

Was here again the other evening with a friend. I ordered house paté for starter: 1150Ft. Drinks, bread arrived. The paté was excellent and quite generous, so I ordered more bread. When the waiter came with the bill, he also brought the machine: I had to ask him twice for just a minute so that we may consider the bill.... more

First, the place is gorgeous. This is now a hotel, and the rooms are beautiful. Their website has good photos. We stayed overnight, so we had both a late dinner, and breakfast. It was delicious. The breads were fresh, great crust. The cappuccino had a great froth and flavour. The dinner the night before, maybe a bit salty to my... more
