We sought out this restaurant today, August 30th. It is either closed or changed its name, because another restaurant called Loulou is there now. And it's not open for lunch Saturday.

Pros: Food and preparation is outstanding....Great ambiance, lovely (no pressure) and very polite service...way better than similar set eateries in Rome or Milan...top notch restaurant for refined clients... Cons: Kind a pricey for the local standard...the portions are not big, but sufficient...maybe not for an average tourist... I HAD A GREAT TIME, IT WAS MY SECOND VISIT...FANTASTIC JOB FAUSTO!!!! You will find here excellence, in all aspects. The enterieur is nice, modern and cozy. The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. The dishes are very-very delicious. Do not miss Fausto's olive oil and balsamic vinegar and also try Fausto's sauvignon blanc, all of them are high quality, we even bought some items from each to take home.There... More

Never expected to find this wonderful restaurant a stone's throw from my hotel. The service, the food and the style of the restaurant was first class and I would recommend to anyone who appreciates fine dining at reasonable prices.

Arrived and tried to decide whether to go for Faust's or Osterio. Difficult choice but decided on Osterio just because the menu appealed more. My wife had the Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella which was huge, I had the goose liver pate which was very tasty if a little petit. I had the fish ... missed the fact it wasn't... More

I've given this 4 stars, since it is a good restaurant, it's just not one I would return to. It's a pretty fancy place, so if you show up after a long day of sight-seeing you'll be tucked away on a table at the back of the room. And while service was good - they offered to make me a... More

We found this listed on Tripadvisor and decided to try it our last night in Budapest. Am I glad we did! Very authentic Italian food, homemade pasta, innovative sauces, and good Italian wines. What more could you ask for--and at reasonable prices. We even got homemade cookies with our after-dinner coffees. This is a must-try if you're in Budapest .

We didn't expect a lot of great food in Budapest, particularly Italian. Food was great ,service was good . We liked it so much ,we had dinner there twice.

This was my favorite meal in budapest by far. A really nice restaurant with amazing service and food. I sat on the patio alone, server was very friendly and suggested some excellent hungarian wines. I had the special of the day- tortellini and finished with the best tirimisu. It was delicious!!! Strongly recommend!
