I went to this restaurant twice - the first time, about a year ago, it was a wonderful experience. A few weeks ago, based on this, I was the one who recommended it to a bigger group of friends for a late Saturday breakfast. We made a reservation and were promptly seated, then ordered the food recommended by the waiter.... More

This was the first place we ate while in Budapest and found the staff very helpful, our meals were delicious and ordered what was recommended by our waiter. We were not disappointed. Good value for money.

We had an early lunch, just before noon. The food was good (we chose the daily menu as I remember). The staff were nice, and the place is really good for children as there are toys and a corner for them to play.

Pastrami's is off the beaten track so as a tourist you're unlikely to find it and that is a shame. However if you happen to be feeling peckish after wandering around the Roman amphitheater (also a fun thing to do) you might want to cross the street and head down about 100 meters to check this place out. The restaurant... More

I had no idea this small section of Budapest's 3rd district (Óbuda) had gotten so lively. Friends suggested I meet them here and though I've lived in Budapest for over 2 decades, this area of 1-2 city blocks has changed from run down, defunct factories and warehouses to lively eateries and bars. I had heard of Pastrami before visiting here... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 5 years. It never disappoints! The menu has not changed much, so you pretty much know what you are going to get when you get there, but they have Specials on the menu every time. The restaurant is very cool, modern and I love the fact, that you can see... More

Very good food. International standards in Budapest. A modern twist with the traditional Hungarian ingredients. It could be a staple place in NYC as well. Keep going!

Four of us had dinner at Pastrami, we enjoyed the atmosphere very much, decoration is really nice (lights and furniture). Two of us weren't satisfied with the dishes (seasoning of the creamy vegetable soup and fish), however my tom ka soup and chili-honey grilled chicken salad were fantastic. Waiters were really polite and the head waiter helped us choose really... More
