They are good at what they do . It is a good place for basic and simple Hungarian food. Prices are below average.

Our first night wandering around. Very pleased to discover the restaurant. Had four lovely dishes. Friendly service. Good beer.

We have arrived late in the evening and were alone at the restaurant. Service was good, quick. Food was great. One of the best Schnitzels I've ever tasted. Prices are fair. Dishes are very big. Recommended!

I was very lucky a hungarian friend took me to this restaurant. Real hungarian food, very tasty, "slow cooked", very nice. I had the beef cooked in a wine sauce with gnocchi, and was terrific! The menu is huge, so you have plenty of options to choose from. One beer and a dish per person (the size are very generous)... More

The restaurant is run-down and it needs immediate renovation. The place was full of local pensioners. The food is poor and I do not think that the menu changed in the last 10-15 years. The restaurant is named after the wiener schnitzel but it one of the worst meals there: it is paper thin and tastes like paper. It was... More

The best thin round snitzel in Budapest! The best deal is the lunch special snitzel combo. Soup, rantotthus and mixed salad for 1500 Huf. Nice draft beer and honest service. My only problem is with the ventilation. I like to eat snitzel without smelling snitzel but whatever it worth it!

The service here was great. The waiter was attentive but not hovering. He made great recommendations suggesting the side of potato salad to my husband because the wiener schnitzel can be a bit dry and the wetness of the salad compliments it well. The prices were quite good considering the size of the meal. My husband’s wiener schnitzel was brought... More

We stayed local and explored on out final night. Not too welcoming form the street, but menu was in Hungarian and English despite being on outskirts of tourist area. Prices and quality of food compare favourably with tourist areas. Like previous reviews, it is not the most stunning place. Practical and plenty of space between the tables. Service was excellent....
