The women who staff the little coffee and pastry shop are delightful. They were kind, had a good sense of humor, and took care of everyone with grace. The terrace is a perfect place to begin the day. And in the evening, pastries are half off!

We had a nice pastry and lattes here, after a long day of traveling. They had a nice selection, and the piano player.was hilarious. I felt like I was in a B movie, but in a good way. It was funny and charming and weird all at the same time.
They serve delicious cakes, but coffee should be stronger! Tipp (10%) is included in a bill, as usual in Hungary - look at a bill: in Hungarian it is "szolgáltatás".
This was a most pleasant place to have a dessert or sandwich and drink, especially after a Thermal Spa visit. Excellent selection of pastries, sandwiches , cakes etc. Cordial, warm servers. We had a coupon for a snack and drink that we purhased as part of our Spa entrance - very worth the little extra for great value!
The building is beautifull, the interior is very nice. The cakes, the ice-cream, coffees are delicious. Good view to the Pest side from the Espresso.
The interior of this cafe is not particularly remarkable, but on a sunny day it's divine to sit out on the terrace and have a really fabulously naughty cake and a glass of icy cold Hungarian rose. It's never packed so you won't have to wait, the service is prompt, the cakes delicious.
a lovely little coffee shop in the historic Gellert Hotel - if you're in the area, you might want to stop by just to see the hotel itself
Fantastic pattiseries all over Budapest delicious here you could get very fat
The best tea room / cafe in Budapest. Great atmosphere, food and drink. Staff are great and well trained. Plus this is in the fabulous Gellert Hotel and Thermal Baths.
Do you know how it is to be really tired and then suddenly end up in a quiet and nice place with lots of great cakes and nice personnel? This place was exactly like this. Highly recommended to visit in the afternoon, after a long walk along the Danube.
