We stopped here on the way home from the Jewish Bistro. Service was polite and efficient. The wine we had was a dry Hungarian cabernet franc which was very good. They also serve a beautiful cheese plate. Gorgeous brick vaulted ceilings. At least half the clients were locals.

The title kind of says it all. Great choice of Hungarian wines, which being from the UK was what we were looking for. Hadn't planned on eating here but we ordered the meat and cheese platters which accompanied the wines really well. Not much food choice though if you're looking for a meal out, this isn't a place to head... More

We were really keen to taste some Hungarian wine on our trip, and sought this place out after a guide book recommendation - we weren't disappointed. Along with an extensive bottle list there are around 8 of both white and red wines that you can try by the glass. On our trip they ranged in price from about 900-2000huf. The... More

Me and boyfriend were wondering around after dinner and came across this place, it had a great selection of wine which the waitress could explain in English which I totally did not expect. There was a love band playing who were brilliant, overall a lovely relaxing evening would recommend it

+: city-center location, pleasant interior, nice selection of wines, good pizzabread -: a little overpriced wines (but it works, full of tourists)

This little wine bar is just on the edge of the jewish quater where you'll find all the great bars/bistros and ruin pubs. We booked the 'Hello Tourist' tasting for the Friday night to celebrate a brithday and loved it so much we went back the next two evenings for more of their wine! They staff are lovely and friendly,... More

They have an interesting selection of quality Hungarian wines, both from the new generation and traditional cellars. Accompanying platters were quite delicious.

We were lucky enough to be staying only a couple minutes walk away from Doblo. After stumbling across it one evening and finding they serve Saffron gin (Budapest does not seem to serve many varieties of gin except bombay/gordons!) we found ourselves coming in here most evenings before or after dinner. We wish we had more time in the city... More

This is a lovely bar with a quiet ambience. We tucked ourselves away in a corner of the bar and had a great evening tasting local Hungarian wines with an amble plate of meats and cheese to go with it. Two whites, One Rose, Two reds and a dessert wine (healthy measures - they didn't skimp) and all tasted great... More
