Good memories

To be honest everything was ok but the service was absolutely amazing. Cherry on the cake. It was the second time in hungary, and the second dinner in this restaurant also, but can't wait till the next year when i will come back for this experience again... and again... :)

I was in this restaurant on the 25th of March with my sons. I tried several hungarian dishes and wines (also from hungary), and listened to the hungarian music band on the other side of the restaurant. The atmosphere and the kitchen also were brilliant!

I just wanna say thank you for everything. We spent 3 nights in the hotel and we went twice for dinner at Araz, all i can say both evening was exeptional. Friendly waiters, reasonable prices, beautifuly presented meals. The strawberry cake was the best dessert i ate in the last few months.

Araz lemonade was delicious and the star dish was the sirloin with spinach and potato souffle. Service is attentive and smiling. It is more expensive than the rest of the neighborhood but sometimes you pay for quality.

Perhaps we just went on the wrong night. There were no offers on, no live music and at half 8 there were only three tables filled (including us). Having said that, the food was good, the wine was good (and cheap) and the service was good - if a little hurried. (though this was similar in other places too) We... More

We traveled as 3 couples and booked for the degustation menu on the tues night. One of our guests was a vegetarian. We also added the wine sampling. The meal was superb as was the wine and our vegetarian guest was totally spoilt and reckoned it was the best meal she had ever had. Thank you.

As soon as we entered we were hounded to order a drink. We asked for a white wine but weren't given a choice. We then had a Hungarian starter which was essentially a plate of cold meat. My partner ordered schnitzel for his main and it was the size of a small dog and so dry. He had two mouthfuls... More

I enjoyed my confit duck leg very much and the pepper sauce was tasty, though not as spicy as I'd expected; I didn't like the semolina accompaniment. But my companion really liked his salmon with potato and fennel. The restaurant is stylish - interesting plates! - and the service was quick and efficient.

By default of finding our first choice veggie restaurant was closed on a Sunday (best to check, many bars and restaurants were) we found this restaurant by chance. I don't usually eat in hotel restaurants but we couldn't find anything vegetarian elsewhere and it was getting late. We were very happy we did go. There was some standard veggie fare... More
