The food and service is excellent. Very reasonable prices. Ask your hotel to book a table as it gets very busy.

We saw 4.5 stars on trip advisor so thought we would give it a try. Worst service I've ever had in my life. The steak was so dry ( I ordered it medium it was so dry and over cooked) we had to go in and flag the waitress for refill of water or to order mustard. Overall horrible experience

We attended the Hungarian evening and to be honest we weren't sure what to expect as this is not normally our type of food , however we were more than pleasantly surprised by the lovely food on offer. It was presented in a buffet style allowing us the chance to try dishes that maybe we would not have normally tried... More

We like this restaurant, it has fancy nice design and they offer interesting lunch menu for a fair price. We prefer not sitting and waiting for hours in a restaurant. Usually it is great, sometimes we didn't like 1-1 meal. But last time on Saturday it was just a huge disappointment. I don't think we'll go there again. The menu... More

We stayed at the Zara Continental Hotel for four nights and had one lunch and three evening meals. The service was excellent as was the food. The menu was very wide ranging so there was plenty of choice and portions were generous. Prices were very reasonable and we enjoyed all our meals. Definitely recommended.

I ate one night in the Araz whilst staying at the Zara hotel its connected to. Food was lovely, modern european dishes done in a slightly minimalistic style (but the portion sizes were fine). Service was good too. Definitely reccomend if you're either staying at the Zara or nearby.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
