Excellent little courtyard cafe just around the corner from Matthias church etc...freshly prepared great coffee and delicious cakes all at very ressonable prices. Lovely little touches and the nicest owner you could wish to meet.

Whilst in Budapest, I saw many TripAdvisor reviews about this cafe, so decided to seek it out. What a great find, fully deserving of its status. The owner was so friendly and I had a toastie, 2 very large cups of coffee that helped wash down the chocolate orange piece of cake I had. Plenty of choice and the food... More

It's quite off the main route within the Buda Castle but it's worth it to find it! A little and cozy coffee shop with a delicious selection of cakes. Wi-Fi free. The owner is very passionate about coffee making and very helpful and friendly!

We discovered this out of the way cafe in Budapest yesterday, round the corner from the Hilton hotel. Had the best cheese toasty , coffee and cheesecake. The wee girl running the place was just lovely. Please visit. It's half the price of the cFes round the corner and in a lovely little setting. Will go again

Lovely to see and experience some great additions to the menu. I really enjoyed the Austrian Apple Pie with Cream - thank you Szilvia! My friends tell me that the Cherry-Chocolate Pie and Esterhazy cake are very good too! The drinks menu has expanded as well- Chai Latte and Strawberry Yoghurt Shake- lovely! You will love this little courtyard café.... More

Trip advisor said this place was closed, but we found it was open. Excellent coffee and cakes, atmosphere and location perfect in the old town of Budapest on castle hill. Go past the front of the Hilton and straight down the right street, at the fork and you will find a warm welcome in a little doorway on the left.

We had passed this cafe a couple of times until on our last day in Budapest we decided to call in. It was a lovely courtyard cafe with 3 stools inside and tables and chairs outside. For outdoor customers it had blankets provided. However in the summer this little place would be a cool place to rest your tired feet.... More

My husband and I stopped by this quaint little coffee shop while walking around Buda Castle District! So sweet in a little courtyard with about four tables. No crowds - no hurry! We had great lattes and cheesecake. Owner was so nice that she brought another homemade piece for us To try. No charge! It was cool and nice blankets... More

Superb place for a quiet coffee and cake. Proper coffee, from a great source, proudly presented in a great location. Is a little hard to find but if you come up the street from the castle and walk around the corner, opposite the museum of music history. Well worth a visit.
