Good Value Lunch

Nice restaurant in a fancy Hotel. Good service. We went for the fixed price lunch. It was not busy. We weren't stunned by the food. It was good but not outstanding. Not too expensive though.

We took our seat at the sushi counter and tasted some of the finest sushis we ever had. Chef is master sushi and nigiri maker . Many thanks :)

Came to Nobu for dinner during a 5 night stay in Budapest. Menu was comparable to all other Nobu's, except the price is much more affordable. The atmosphere wasn't very exciting, maybe it was just a slow night? we ate fairly early--around 8pm. The restaurant was playing American 90s rock/pop.... definitely funny hearing Sarah Mclachlan playing while eating. I wouldn't... More

The food was quite underwhelming. Having eaten at Nobu in London, several times & also in Moscow, we found the food very ordinary, contrary to our expectation of Nobu.

I have never been to any of the other Nobu restaurants, so I cannot compare this one on atmosphere or qualify. However, while this restaurant is pricey for Budapest standards, it is relatively inexpensive for Nobu standards (you save about 15% to 20% against the London or Las Vegas locations), so if you've always wanted to try Nobu, do it... All the Nobu favorites avilable at a fraction of the prices. The business sushi lunch is only +/- $18US at current exchange rates, but it is not on the menu so you have to ask. Smaller and more casual location than most of the other global branches. No dress code at lunch.

It's a nice place, classy and modern, it's better if you reserve your table before going because you may not find free tables. Food was really good, we tried 5 plates and all were well done. Price was a bit high but in the centre of Budapest and in a place like that it's normal

Eat here if you possibly can and if Attila serves and helps you then your experience will be amazing. We chose the two taster menus between us and were not disappointed. Such fresh food and flavour busting tastes. Maybe the best food we've ever had.

Great place to dine at, food was very good. However, if I were to compare it to my favourite Japanese restaurant Zuma, it did fall a little short. We had edamame to start which was well steamed, not hard and not powdery (surprising how many places cannot do this properly), rock shrimp, California roles and tuna avocado roles. The roles... Great place to be. Japanese kitchen. A bit expensive but extraordinary good kitchen. Well serviced. Straightforward interior design. Nothing exciting.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
