Great evening!

Myself, family and friends came to Nobu to celebrate my Birthday whilst on holiday in Budapest. We all had a lovely evening and great food. The sushi was excellent, as was the cocktails and the venue! I agree with some of the other reviews regarding price, as it quite pricey! But all worth it in... read more

We spent a great evening in this restaurant thanks to some exceptional food and very nice service. It's not a cheap restaurant so one cannot expect fast food prices. We felt the price was right. For first timers I recommend going for the Chef's menu. Although a bit pricey, it gives you the perfect opportunity to taste some of the... More

The atmoshere was very unrelaxed as atleast 5 waiters ran just 2 centimeters away from our table every minute. ( We even had a table reservation and still we got the worst table of the whole restaurant. ) The food was ok, but the sushi was pretty basic but cost 3x more. Also the music was so loud you could... First visit to Nobu, heard about it in London but could never visit. We had had our fill of Hungarian food (not my type) so decided to go for something well known, tried tested and never to fail. The yellow tail sashimi with jalapeños was different and fresh, the popcorn shrimp crispy and the Steak done just right. If you... More

Very good quality food and nice wines, however: seriously overpriced, which isn't that obvious from the menu at all. Since we were recommended some wines by the sommelier, we didn't have the chance to see a wine list and therefore the prices, but only faced the invoice of about 250 euros per person, for sharing a few dishes and a... Great dinner and dropped in after wandering around the city. The service was fabulous as was the food and available wine by the glass.

Asian restaurant with really bad sushis and recipes which makes the experience poor even though service is good. The place and ambiance are modern (not too cheap) but you should avoid it as there are nicer places for equal price ranges :)

Nobu is hands down one of my favourite restaurants in budapest. I visit this restaurant regularly for many reasons; the delicious fresh sushi, impeccable service and gorgeous cocktails! This is a go to place on a Saturday night, it's always full with a great atmosphere! Id definitely recommend the popcorn shrimp, prawn tempura Californian rolls and hands down the best... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
