It's a Nobu

Located in the Kempinski hotel, this Nobu location was great when exploring Budapest for the day. I sat at the sushi bar and was happy to enjoy the service which Nobu is famous for. It's was not the best Nobu meal I have had but the staff and service where up to par.

The interior was noting special, felt a bit like an slightly up market yo-sushi. Food was decent though. The service unfortunately is what perhaps amplified my dislike for this establishment. When asked if we could receive everything together (two mains and a starter) the somewhat condescending waiter with a fancy quiff told me they are very busy (the restaurant was... More

This restaurant really makes an effort. Went here for a business dinner (stayed in the Kempinski hotel, the restaurant is in the hotel). The place only fills up after 8, and when still a bit empty the place looks and feels a bit cool. Once filled up that feeling immediately disappears. We enjoyed 7 dishes we shared with the 4... Started off the evening with a cocktail at the bar which was excellent. we were then seated at our table in the next room. Great menu with unusual twists and some sushi classics that you find. Can be quite expensive for some dishes but was all very fresh and extremely tasty. perfect place for sushi lovers

Went along to Nobu for Sunday lunch with the kids to celebrate Miklos day as the restaurant had set-up a special Santa corner for the kids. Staff were absolutely fantastic and looked after the kids with many activities to build things, face paintings and even the chance to make and decorate their own gingerbread men with the chef. Now onto... More

We had a party of 9 and didn't need reservations. The service was great and the food even better. We had sushi lovers and haters in our group and the menu selections were perfect for everyone.

Absolutely fantastic. Great and innovative foods on the menu. The fish taco appetizer was complex and very memorable - tasty!

I had a business dinner at Nobu Budapest last week and thought the quality of the food was extremely fresh and very tasty, however the service was not very personal and when one of the waiters came over to explain what the different sushi was, it was recited at high speed and we asked for her to repeat it, but... I love sushi and sashimi, choice more than excellent! high quality of the fish, cooked with skill with net flavors, seasonings and sauces delicious choice wines broad and high-level, with special mention to the service and to the board on the plates to be missed!

I've been at Nobu in other countries and honestly it never impressed me, but this time in Budapest, I really had a good time, and didn't feel like I was ripped of ! Great drinks !
