Hungarinized Sushi experience. This NOBU is heavy on Teriyaki and other salty sauces. A good piece of salmon was ruined by heavy-handed thick Teriyaki. Waiter wanted to charge for replacement with a simply grilled piece and was argumentative. Overall, very ordinary food and ambience compared to NOBUs elsewhere. You could replicate it with any strip center sushi dining in the... More

Nobu is part of the Kempinski Hotel in Budapest. I went with my boyfriend in our trip to Budapest. Service was brilliant and our waiter was genuine and friendly. We had a beautiful ceviche which was very well executed. We had a stunning truffle and spinach salad, sushi selection And of course the famous black cod. Perfectly cooked and presented.... More

One of the best sushi restaurants outside of Tokyo. Very fresh and delicious. A bit expensive but they do have lunch specials (weekdays) and a bento special (everyday)

Chotto takai little expensive. Miso flavor was unknown to me. My wife a Colombiana makes a killer miso shiru. The rice was a little gooy and the fish lacked a little more firmness tempura was ok. I wouldn't mind eating there again if it was cheaper

The foods look awesome, the taste is nice. The service had some problems for example I expect high quality wines and champagnes this price to serve in front of me. I want to see the bottle how they fill my glass in front of me not just giving the glass when its full already (with who knows what) The restaurants... More

I had a beautiful meal here, I've never had Japanese food before so was panicking looking at the menu, however the waiter was great and helped me decide. Drinks were quickly replenished and plates taken as soon as we were finished. The table was cleaned between courses and we were waited on perfectly. Expensive, but worth it, we were on... More

This is clearly a high-class place in Budapest - it's inside the Kempinski hotel, which says it all - the service is perfect. The food is fresh and tasty and what many people have to understand is that you really don't pay for the food quality here, but rather for the poshness of the place. I can't really say about... More

This place is a must go and see. The food is average, service is great, the atmosphere and service are amazing. I think one must go to this place to check that box, but I prefer the Dubai branch better. And oh yes, it's very expensive.

I mean that in a good way! The prices are high, but no higher than any other Nobu restaurant. The quality of the food is the best. If you are looking for an exceptional Japanese meal in Budapest, definitely go.
