We had dinner here as it was right across the street from the Hilton Budapest. There were few people on the street that Saturday night – and even fewer in the restaurant. I remembered that Europeans eat dinner late and I thought we were just getting there before the crowds. I guess things are ‘not so European’ in Budapest since... More

This restaurant has a fabulous service. The waiters there were like royal butlers - very professional.

We had a quick lunch when visiting the castle district. We ordered a menu for something around 2700 HUF and received an average potato soup, average chicken breast with rice and an average dessert. Included was a coffee, which was nice. Overall nothing I would remember for a long time, but for a simple lunch, why not.

Contemporary atmosphere. Excellent hungarian dishes. Moderate prices. We had the goulash and it was great. Fish stew was so-so. Wine list was very good.

Arrived late in the evening and were told that the only food available was cheese and ham toasties. Whilst these were palatable, they were very expensive. With small lager double the cost of a large lager everywhere else in Budapest, the price of 2 toasties, 4 beers and 2 glasses of wine was over £30!

Quick service, relatively good food, nothing special. For tourists only who are attending the Castle District. This restaurant has lost its glamour, compared to timnes when it was without competitors

Food was just OK but service was good. Great location and the staff was helpful when ordering. Food and ambiance at Pest-Buda was better!

We were happy to find this charming restaurant right across the street from our hotel. The goulash soup wasn't the goulash I was hoping for, but our meal was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was extremely attentive and the waiter spoke English very well. We paid in either Euros or US dollars because we never got around to exchanging... More
