Budapest Steak...truly amazing!!

Thanks to the service from Zsanett and a superb "Budapest Steak" from the menu, this is a definite "must eat at" restaurant in Budapest. Lucky to meet some friends from our boat cruise who had chosen to dine here otherwise we may never have found this local gem. Delicious food, great service... read more

I visited here with two friends for my last night in Budapest. One of the two friends ate there the night before and had great food and service. However it was not the case for my visit. The food was fine but the service was very slow. When it came time to pay, the waitress refused to split the bill... More

Visited here for late evening meal, is in a beautiful square. Service was excellent with very pleasant lady serving us. My partner had steak which was cooked to perfection. I had pork and potatoes in paprika which was very tasty, dessert too were beautiful in taste and presentation. Well done to all who work there. Will go back. Thank you

This place is in a small courtyard close to the hotel we were staying in. I thought it was going to be touristy and not great but I was very wrong. The atmosphere at night was so lovely, the fairy lights and piano playing! There are cute blankets if it gets cold and the staff are nice. The good was... More

Came here on my first night with my friend just walking by on the street and so glad that i stumbled upon in. I had steak and port ravioli and my friend had chicken paprika and noodles and both were fantastic. If you are in Budapest this restaurant is a must.

Strange to see all these good reviews. Overpriced and bad food. I had Pasta with cottage cheese which was basically big pile of pasta with no taste or any meat / sauce (it was just tiny bit). My friend had 6990 HUF stake which was quality of gas station stake. Probably from freezer, wasnt medium as asked and very dry... More

Visited here due to not being able to book in anywhere else. A little treasure, the menu was varied but had some lovely choices. The staff were helpfulwith the menu and with choose selections. The veggie dish was exceptional and for once I didn't suffer the mushroom risotto only choice. All the starter , main courses and deserts were fantastic.... More

Greatvrange of traditional dishes. Have the Goulash Soup - traditional and delicious. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful.

We had our first meal in Budapest with Vendiak. The location was nice and there were many people eating there, so we wanted to have a try. We order some traditional Hungarian food and a mix vegetable salad as a side dish. The traditional Hungarian food plate was just several pieces of meet and a small bread, which were taste... More

We had dinner tonight at this restaurant and all thoroughly enjoyed it. None of us speak Hungarian and our waitress Aniko made wine and food recommendations, and was extremely patient with our questions. Aniko and her colleagues were attentive to our needs, without being pushy. They were all very friendly. As tourists, we were made to feel very welcome, and... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
