I actually had to throw my americano away it was so bad. The outside seating looks lovely and I haven't had the food hence the 3 stars.

Had breakfast at the Cafe Alibi today with my wife as an alternative to the seemingly overpriced hotel breakfast. We were thrilled with our selection. The Cafe offered covered patio seating and even had misters going keeping the atmosphere very comfortable. I ordered an Americano as well as the bacon and eggs. My wife ordered a Frappe and the eggs... More

My traveling companions and I enjoyed hearty breakfast and freshly ground coffee drinks plus exceptional service by our waitress Barbara. Our experience was so delightful that we returned the next morning. My scrambled eggs with ham and cheese was not only delicious, but beautifully presented. The portion was more than sufficient. Others in my party were equally enthusiastic about their... More

A perfect way to start the day having breakfast before a full day of drinking & sightseeing, great food , atmosphere and setting, helped by the 30 degrees heat. The staff were impeccable especially the attractive blonde who worked there who took our breath away, we will be back even maybe take my wife !

Came with a group of friends from Australia. We were looking for some Hungarian food that wasn't a tourist destination and we found it here! With items on the menu like duck ragu and succulent cat fish how could you walk past. It really is a must for any foodie.

Chanced this place walking through the area and couldn't have been any better! Had the roasted rabbit liver and shared all the desserts, left us constantly moaning and nodding all night.

in a small pedestrianised square(near to but much nicer than Vaci Utca) a small cafe bar with outside tables in the centr of the square. Lovely coffee, food, beer and staff ! I was with a group of 9 men, the bar staff made us feel welcome, this became our 'local' for 4 days, many breakfasts and brunches and often... More

We went there for breakfast on their comfortable terrace. My coffee was great and the hungarian scrambled eggs very tasty. I would have definitely like a bit of butter with the bread though. My partner had the grilled-veggies scrambled eggs (a bit boring), and a freshly pressed juice (mango, apple, pineapple, with a tiny hint of chilli) which was absolutely... More

In the summer, the cafe only has outdoor seating, so if you are bothered by cigarette smoke when you eat, this may not be the place for you. Because it is a cafe, it attracts smokers. We had a great meal. My husband had duck and said it was great. I had a rhubarb/strawberry/walnut/pumpkin seed salad that was fresh and... More
