Family visit

Recommended by our hotel and we weren't disappointed. Duck breast was a little over cooked for me, but still enjoyable. The risotto with chicken was excellent. Worth a visit and not expensive

Went there for dinner. Ordered several dishes including roasted duck breast and goose liver. Very happy with the food and the wine.

This place is quite near our hotel and was recommended by someone who is on the same package as we are. It is known for non traditional Hungarian cooking but also for the fact that they have 100 wines available by the glass. In my case I tried to explain to the waiter that we did not want to rush,... I came here on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The meal was excellent, wait staff so king and polite, value exceptional. I started with the good Hungarian house wine. Followed by the goat cheese salad with a ton of cheese. Then, the goulash which was perfectly spiced. I had the chicken for main and then a small cheesecake dessert. Wonderful... More

The restaurant is located a bit remotely but worth the travel. The salmon with caviar and asparagus was great. The duck burger also very good. Staff was very friendly, they catered to our every need including a taxi order.

Eniko!!! She rocks. Through hail and heavy rains she kept a smile and an engaging presence. Thanks E! OK the food was good. I had the veal with goose liver and potatoes. TSB had duck. Both were good. Good wine and beer. After dinner a very nice cheese cake and some kind of chocolate mouse thing. Nice ending to a... More

We had high expectations, but had to leave dissapointed. The waiters were really seemed to be looking forward to the end of their shift. The food was okay, but nothing special. The place looks beautyful though.

Right across from the Central Market. Food was wonderful and service was delightful. Exceptional wine list and lovely outdoor dining.

Just arrived in Budapest, we had lunch as recommend by the hotel receptionist. If this is the standard of things to come we are in for a treat. Food was excellently prepared and presented. We had Lamb Chops and Goulash. Lamb was as good as we have ever had. Great wine section also.

My husband and I (early 60s) enjoyed two delicious dinners at Borbirosag Restaurant whilst in Budapest. We felt the setting (on a delightful garden square adjacent the city markets), service, ambience, food and wine were superb and very reasonably priced. There is virtually no traffic noise so this is a real haven. It is not a typical 'tourist menu' restaurant... More
