Our first stop when we arrived. Right beside our hotel. Good food. Good service and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Worth a visit anytime

A wonderfull experience... We had our first Budapest dinner there. The staff is very pleasant - they know a lot about food and wine, they are offering. Wine was excelent... Food delicious and served very nicely. The prices are higher but reasonable.

Food was good. Staff speak good English. Service was good except they forgot one of our deserts so there was a bit of a delay. Restaurant decor was nice. Blankets outside too if you get a little chilly!

We found this place on Tripadvisor and went a friday night. Only for a main course each - but the food was excellent. One had pork and potato, the other pasta with rabbit, and it was perfectly made. Portions were not big, but enough for us. Price is fairly high for Hungary, but worth it! Only good service from the... More

rare opportunity to enjoy dinner with my eldest daughter (30 and single). We were on a short break in Budapest and looked to tripadvisor for where to eat. great meal excellent and friendly service, even allowed wine sampling before we picked Hungarian wines. We did eat early and the restaurant was busy when we left so perhaps the service was... More

When I have a guest I don't want to miss with, Borsso is my go-to. The food is classic yet creative. The wine list is one of the best in the city. And...the service impeccable (a rare jewel in Budapest) with the wait-staff actually able to describe the menu and wines. Nice ambiance--classy without being ostentatious, high quality local ingredients... More

It's down a fairly narrow alley / street and is a small place with a pleasant enough line up of tables in front. A jazz trio - two guitars and a bass - played softly across the alley and they were very good. (I'd been concerned when I walked up, but they were soft enough and good enough that I... More

Yet again my Wife and Trip Advisor found a Hidden Gem. An absolutely Five Star Meal for both of us. The Steak with Duck Liver on top was a Triumph and the Ricotta Cheese desert Incredible My wife is still talking about the Home made Porcini and Truffle Pasta fabulous.

This is the best restaurant I've discovered so far in Budapest. The wine was surprisingly good (seeing as how I had no idea Hungarians do wine, and do it well). Food was also great and the dessert (charlotte) was to die for. The service stood out above all else. I had three different servers taking care of me, and all... More
