We went as a couple and had a lovely meal with perfectly cooked very nice food. I would recommend the steak with duck liver. The service was also impeccable and they were very enthusiastic about their food.

Borsso is a nice and cosy restaurant. The waiters are friendy and the services is good. It looks like the ox cheek was the best choice on our table, the salads were ok and the fish dishes were rather average.

they lost our orders and we had to wait around 35-40 minutes. when they realised the problem, they offered us a refill of (amazing) wine, and brought us the plates in 5 minutes. Nice atmosphere, and good live music (2 guitars, not high volume, really). the dessert (apple pie) was one of the best i ever had. high price for... More

Really enjoyed this bistro, professional and friendly staff. Went for the set menu and was not disappointed. Foie gras, fish soup, ox cheek and a kind of small apple cake. Very good! Also liked that I could taste different wines before choosing. Around 10 different whites and 10 reds by the glass. All local wines. Recommended.

Booked this place last night expecting a sensational meal but were slightly disappointed. nothing in particular was wrong except that nothing in particular was perfect. food was average in taste (starters, mains and desserts). both pasta and risotto were too al dente for us so make sure you mention how well you want things cooked before you order. finally it... Fabulous meal from start to finish. Interesting decor and wonderful, attentive, knowledgable staff. The food was fantastic and we asked for a wine recommendation. It was great that the waiter recommended we try three different wines before choosing. So glad we saw the great reviews about this place and booked in advance. Highly recommended and a must if you are... More

Very close to my hotel - booked before I went. Had the tasting menu with wine which was just fantastic. All the produce was local and all was explained perfectly to me prior to me eating! Was informal but great and very relaxed - also very good value for money

We enjoyed our meal at Borsso Bistro. We had the Rib-eye steak with roasted duck liver and the Oxcheek, both were cooked very well. Wine was very good and the service was excellent!

Came here for New Year's Eve 2014 and had an amazing meal. We had a 5 course meal and everything was pretty amazing bar the pork jelly cocktail starter which I can't say I tried.....but no one else ate it either! The accompanied drinks were great, the staff were really friendly and attentive apart from maybe when we were waiting... More

This was next to my B&B. I went just to have a glass of wine, but ended up taking the tasting menu with the wine accompaniments (and going back for a small something on another day). Ok, I have never eaten goose liver, I was very, very doubtful about it. But ...my, my. Unctious and the fermint wine went perfectly... More
