Our hotel called to get us a "day of" dinner reservation. The only thing available was at 6:00 PM. We were the only people in the restaurant, but they wanted to be sure we could relax and be finished by 7:30 when they would be full. This restaurant is conveniently located a few blocks from the Budapest Opera House. The... More

This was just round the corner from our hotel. The food was creative and made with skill. It was absolutely delicious. We ordered the set menu which came with wine and it was very filling. The service was perfect and the waiter even gave us the recipie for the tomato jam. I think we will defintely be going back while... More

Restaurant tucked away in side street, near the Budapest OPera House. Menu not quite traditional. Waiter serving us spoke good English and was helpful and very knowledgeable. We had a really good lunch. Recommended.

Yes, Wow! I came here with friends again on my final night in Budapest. I have been here before and it keeps getting better and better. The service is outstanding. They treat you like you are important to them and they know you are. The place was closed for a week or two so that they could have a short... More

We went here based on previous tripadvisor reviews. It was a rainy night, and a 15 minute walk from our hotel but we did not regret walking through the rain. Even if we were soaking wet once we got to the restaurant, it was well worth it. The owner approached us once seated on our table and answered all our... More

If your idea of a perfect holiday is to stumble across a great eating-place literally round the corner from your hotel, then our Budapest break was perfect. Bouchon offers a warm welcome, professional attention to the highest standards of service and some really tasty, original food. We had turkey with Camembert and pear slices - odd combinations, you might think,... More

I had the 4 dish menu, which was good, main course a little salty. The other 2 persons had 2 courses each, from which I would recommend the delicious grilled duck breast. With a bottle of red wine, a total of 65E seemed like a bargain. Atmosphere is very nice and excellent service. Tip included in the bill.
