We had both lunch and dinner at Bouchon. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the service level is very good. They live up to their ambition to make you feel at home. Very good value both on meals and wine. Good selection of wines by the glass at a reasonable Price level. Do not expect high end dining but go... More

For our final dinner in Budapest, we decided to try #11 ranked Cafe Bouchon. Another inspired choice. What a great, friendly neighbourhood restaurant! From the moment we arrived, we were excellently look after by the young blond waiter. He talked through the food options and helped with our wine selection. Unusual to find a young guy so attentive and helpful.... More

Unfortunately we visited this bistro having had a really excellent meal the night before. It is hard to pinpoint anything in particular as we were served the most delicious tomato jam with onion bread as we sat down and were recommended to try a light sparkling white wine to accompany it. However the menu and the meal just did not... More

This restaurant was literally just around the corner from our apartment and we enjoyed our first meal so much that we decided to eat here again on our last night of our holiday. The food was delicious and both meals turned out to be the cheapest we had in Budapest so it's brilliant value for money! I would recommend to... More

A really enjoyable little cafe with very friendly staff and delicious food. Great choice of starters and mains, great service & truly delicious food. My only wish would be for a dessert selection that matched the greatness of the rest of this excellent restaurant's service. Reasonable price - 3 courses each - plus drinks for two came to around £40

It is only small but has a lovely atmosphere. The service was great and the food was excellent and at a very reasonable price. I would advise to book as while we were there several people tried to walk in and got turned away so I would advise it as it seems very popular.

Lovely restaurant, staff were very friendly. Food was good and they were very good at suggesting wines to compliment the meal. Would recommend.
