It was satisfactory for my Indian craving. The service was good too. I can't remember details since it was some time ago.

This restaurant is owned by a Sindhi from Bombay seems to have a virtual monopoly of the expats, visiting vips from India & the flood of tour groups that throng that place. It is also very ideally located in one of the upscale area of bustling Budapest city but in a quiet side lane of Four Seasons Hotel which faces the landmark... We love this place. Its spicy and flavoursome. No A/C so in the heat and a spicy curry you need plenty of water. We have been four or five times and every time there is lots of Indian people here, which tells a story. The Chickpea dish is amazing and I am no vegetarian.

The staff started serving them, didn't give a damn to us, we had to wait until all of them have been served multiple times, and had completed their meal. We had to... More

Very nice food for a very reasonable price! Staff are very friendly and helpful. I got a chicken tikka masala with rice and a nan bread for little over £7.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
