I'm thankful we found this restaurant after a long drive to Budapest. This restaurant was in close walking distance from our hotel which was really nice. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and helpful...which is really nice when you have two small kids. The food was really good and to expensive. It was fresh and hot. I will... More

This restaurant is tucked into a small lane very close to Four Seasons Hotel on one side and St. Steven's Basilica on the other. The food is like a celebration of India in your mouth once u bite into it. Every dish we ordered was detailed in its taste. The main curries and gravies were very meticulously prepared and superb... We had dinner after viewing the restaurant on their website. On arrival not exactly the ambience we expected but had heard about the food. Furniture dated and decor all need updating. But waiters just terrific friendly and helpful with attentive service. We over ordered as didn't fully appreciate the portion size, our waiter did warn us! The food certainly did... More

You have to look for this restaurant but it is worth it. Outstanding Indian cuisine and a great waitstaff. Reasonably price, with a great lunch menu.

Go no further. This is the best restaurant for Indian food. Full Stop. Superb service and advice. Just ask for the food to be spicy "Indian style" and you will get the best food that you craved for moving away from home. The staff is cooperative and know their spices inside out. Cheers to the chef for giving Indians what... More

The food was really nice, service was ok and the prices are pretty much the same as from the other Indian restaurants in Budapest. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is the meat...We have ordered 3 different dishes, and meat had the same dry or overcoocked taste, it was not that juicy.. It's just how I like... More

Food was decent and the taste of indian dishes was good. Service was pathetic. Sometimes, it takes 45 min-1 hour to serve food after ordering. Also, card is not accepted sometimes which causes inconvenience.

We have been away from home for about 10 days and were looking forward to an Indian food fix and salaam Bombay did not disappoint. Great food, really nice ambience! It's right off the street from the four seasons hotel near the main square in pest. A must visit! Compliments to the chef!
