As a recent reviewer said " hummus, tasty cottage cheese with red peppers, goose liver with eggs". The liver with eggs and onion did it for me, It has been decades since I had it last! So simple and yet so rich and delicious. Also had beef with bread dumplings and chicken paprika. Excellent. Will certainly go back. Thank you... More

Very nice jewish place. We had the special starter for two - wonderful hummus, tasty cottage cheese with red peppers, goose liver with eggs and so on. Very good. I had a goose leg for main course with roesti. Wonderful and tasty meat. My husband had chicken with honey and plums - a bit on the sweet side. It felt... More

We ate there the last time we were in Budapest and are happy we returned. It was just as wonderful. I had golden goose soup with matzo balls and honey chicken with rice, carrots, and plums. It was excellent. My wife had leg of goose with potato pancakes topped with sour cream and cheese. She loved it. We had fried... More

Located in the downtown area, pretty good-old-times feeling with tons of family photos of the owners. Tables are too large, when it gets busy, you may share your dining experience with some other guests. Food is pretty good, but the chef must be on pain-killers or something, food is served in a slow-motion manner.

We went when the restaurant was quite busy and we had no reservation, but they managed to fit us in. The restaurant is out of the way in a back street and can't get much passing trade, but it stays open so that must say something about some its local reputation. The food was good and reasonably priced. Nothing too... More

I can really not recommend this place. The interior looks like from the 60's, but in a bad way. Service was not at all pleasing.

The place looked closed as there was some scaffolding up, but it was open. The food was good, I had pumpkin soup and my husband had beef stew. We had done goose crackling.. Very strange. The waitress was nice but some of her comments were strange. A nice place to eat, slightly pricy for what it was

We chanced a visit to Fülemüle on a late Monday evening and were greeted with a warm and welcome family atmosphere. We had prompt service but were never rushed. For our meal, we had cups of bean ghulash and golden goose soup with matzo balls. The broth of the bean soup was well flavored and contained a variety of stewed/smoked... More

Very good food, very nice little restaurant. On a quite street. From the outside you might miss it or misunderstand it but the food was rich in flavour whatever we tried. Bean gulash, starter platter, beef stew, chicken paprika, wine, beer etc. I didnt understand why some people complained about it. I would recommended if asked.
