My family, husband and three grown up children ate at this restaurant on a rainy August evening. The dining room was lovely and traditional, almost like being in someone's home, rather smartly appointed and traditional. We ordered so,me typical Budapest dishes with a Jewish flavour, including goose leg that was salty and delicious and the best latkes I have ever... More

The food was excellent and you get a lot of food. The staff were polite and it is well worth a visit I would recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

We wanted to have some Jewish food of the askenazim and decided for this place although is is not ranked at the top. Fuellemuele was a perfect choice. It is not in the commercial tourist area but still central and can be easily reached by foot (20 min) from Vaci Utca. It is not in category I and the surroundings... More

Cute, classic, informal restaurant serving delicious, traditional food. Had scrumptious goose-themed prix fixe, as well as great chicken paprikash. Well priced. A satisfying meal.

This Jewish-style (rather than kosher) restaurant came highly recommended, and we weren't disappointed. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared: our only problem was we couldn't do it justice. We just aren't used to goose liver fried in goose fat and the portions are very generous. Still, we had a great meal and the cost of such excellence was embarrassingly... More

As for the good ratings we gave it a try but must say that we were rather disappointed. Unfortunately we got a table at the room behind the main restaurant, close to the kitchen (by the end of the evening it became really smelly in there). The food itself was very heavy and in our eyes not very tasty. The... More

we ate here on a holiday (1st of May), as a group of 7. the food is very good and there are plenty of options to choose from, as they have both Hungarian and Jewish dishes. there is a 10% service fee included in the bill, main courses are around 10 euro each (including the 10% fee), beers are around... My Mom was of Hungarian descent and she was a good cook. May her soul rest in peace and may she not strike me dead when I write that the food at Fulemule was much better. (Love you mom.) I ordered the matzo ball soup and my wife ordered bean goulash soup. The flavor was rich and amazing; a bowl... More

Small, family style restaurant in the Jewish quarter. Great value for the money. Food is above average; had the schnitzel and the goulash. Both well flavored; the meat could have been better trimmed or grizzle but small critique for a very cute restaurant
