Ok the Chicken soup is rated best in the world by the NY Times, and their goose grevenes are to die for, but the thing that may make us return to Budapest is their roast duck. not to be missed.

We really enjoyed our meal! Hummus (needs more pita), brisket, paprika chicken, fried fish kids meal. My husband couldn't stop raving about the fried potatoes and the matzo soup was my highlight. It is a tad pricey and it would be nice if there were more wines by the glass to choose from.

Fülemüle offers traditional kosher cuisine for its clientele. These meals are of great taste and high standard. It is a small and family-run restaurant so probably this keeps up the quality. If you sit in you go back to the beginning of the 20th century because of the atmosphere and style of the food. I recommend fourths who are interested... More

We had a delightful, relaxed meal on a weekday evening. The restaurant was an easy walk from the Boscolo Hotel although Google Maps is recommended for online walking directions. We had an excellent chicken dish and also beef stew, with bottled water and white wine. The total bill was approximately $34 USD. Service was attentive and there are some interesting... More

We came here about 4 years ago and luckily found that this time it was only about 10 minutes walk from the Novotel Centrum Hotel. We both had exccellent hummus with pitta bread, followedd by a succulent chicken paprika and an acceptable bottler of Hungarian sauvignon blanc for a total price of 12,300 forints. The restaurant was tasteful and quiet... More

All i want to say is 'goose leg' is the best thing ever! We were here twice and both time we were fed up and happy. Food was really good. And eating out here is good value for money if you want to eat something Hungarian-Jewish. Like hummus, goose liver and like i was saying goose leg

Small and homely you could tell this was family run. It was clean, and the waiter was very attentive. Its hard to find - was behind construction for us, but definitely worth it. Amazing Hungarian food, my brother tried the paprika chicken, I had the beef stew. Both were made to perfection. A bit off the beaten path but only... More

I wanted to experience the authentic hungarian cuisine of paprinka chicken and goulash on my last night in Budapest. I found this restaurant based on a review headed "best paprika chicken in Budapest". Whilst we enjoyed the walk there which is off the beat and track of other touristy restaurants, I was slightly disappointed on the blandness of both dishes.... More
