All i want to say is 'goose leg' is the best thing ever! We were here twice and both time we were fed up and happy. Food was really good. And eating out here is good value for money if you want to eat something Hungarian-Jewish. Like hummus, goose liver and like i was saying goose leg

Small and homely you could tell this was family run. It was clean, and the waiter was very attentive. Its hard to find - was behind construction for us, but definitely worth it. Amazing Hungarian food, my brother tried the paprika chicken, I had the beef stew. Both were made to perfection. A bit off the beaten path but only... More

I wanted to experience the authentic hungarian cuisine of paprinka chicken and goulash on my last night in Budapest. I found this restaurant based on a review headed "best paprika chicken in Budapest". Whilst we enjoyed the walk there which is off the beat and track of other touristy restaurants, I was slightly disappointed on the blandness of both dishes.... More

The decor lays on the schmaltz, but the food is mediocre and overpriced. Whatever the authenticity of its provenance, the restaurant feels like a tourist ripoff.

Reward a lazy Sunday with Fülemüle for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed. Lovely flavorful dishes in a warm familial restaurant with kind professional service. Good food, drinks, very cozy and taste. It is not so far from the center and the bars road. Very silent place and actually no any music.

A friend who has lived in Budapest told us about Fulemule. Based on the Trip Advisor reviews, which were mixed, I was a little worried. WRONG! Food and service were outstanding. Four of us ate chicken paprika and brisket. Both were excellent. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat here again.

Please avoid this restaurant, overpriced, unfresh food, and has nothing to do with gastronomy at all. The pork medallions was raw, inedible and not what they described on the menu. The grilled chicken also worth nothing, full with pepper, not to feel its not fresh... Disgusting The worst experience since a long time. Budapest has loads of good restaurants, go anywhere else,... We went to this restaurant for a romantic dinner. Now I know that entering the place and not finding any other guests within is a very-very bad sign... We had the pork medalions with ratatouille which was greasy and inedible, and it contained no lean meet!!! We refused to pay for this, however the waiter was ashamed and apologized, the... More
