We visited this restaurant after doing a trip advisor search on restaurants close to where we were staying. We went mid-afternoon and were the only people in there. This is a good restaurant if you want to sample some traditional Hungarian dishes but not pay over the odds. We chose a meal off the 'specials' board which consisted of soup... More

Our visit to Hunyadi Kisvendeglo was horrible: 1. The place was empty when we arrived, and only the family set there with their young children smoking and drinking loads of beer. I must emphasize again: little children (5 to 15 years old approximately) was seeing their parents get drunk and fooling around all evening, and the parents actually encouraged them... More

Nice little place with the owner family sitting at the back playing cards. Food was average but it depends on what you eat. My paprika chicken was nice but there was very little meat. My boyfriend's meal was a lot bigger. Tokai wine was very nice. Laid back atmosphere and ok food if you're not looking for fine dining.

Sitting here now in front of a great plate of food. Menu is in very basic english. I always order the "onion pork roast" as seen in my pic. Basically a fried boneless pork chop with amazing fried onions on top. You have to order a side to go with it and the potatoes with parsley are outstanding. Simple and... More

This little restaurant should be in the top #100! You get a rich buffet with traditional Hungarian food with desert for just 9?. The location in trip advisor is not exact, it's a little more to the east, it's worth searching!

This little eaterie looks a bit down-at-heel but it is worth visiting. It is a lot better than the negative reviews but perhaps the positive reviews are a little over-the-top. You can sample various Magyar dishes on an all-you-can-eat buffet basis.

The little restaurant from outside looks not very attractive. But inside we found something special. Formula 'all you can day' with very delicious food and good wine. The hungarian owner has a very typical italian gestuality and he is very friendly ! he speaks italian! Very very low price!

Althought there is a menu, we chose the all-you-can-eat (within a 2-hour window) for about $12 each (plus drinks). The food was just good old-fashioned home cooking, but it was so good. Hard to find as sign is non-existent, but worth looking for. Lots of students eat here. You can't beat the price. We left full, and satisfied!

Familiar restaurant, next to house of terror, cheap prices and nice local food! I hope the good reviews at TP dont waste it... now, 2012, it's still good.
