The food was very good, but our waitress rushed us to order and she wasn`t very kind so that was a big minus for us.

Our hostel recommended this restaurant for good, authentic Hungarian cuisine. We ordered the fish soup, salads, and a few beers. The fish soup was excellent (which is why we returned the next afternoon); however, the salads were smothered in dressing. That aside, this restaurant is a must-go if you are in that side of town!

Got turkey ragout with apples and prunes. Never tried anything similar. Great mix of sweet, creamy and spicy notes. One dish is enough to feed two, for sure.

We've visited Budapest 4 times over the past 6 years and were fortunate enough to discover the Pozsonyi Kisvendeglö on our first trip. Now, we only argue about how soon and how often we want to go there. We know that we need to try other restaurants, but the Pozsonyi feels like our Budapest home. Nothing seems to change -... More

There are much better places in Budapest! If you want all your food breaded to arrive cold burnt grilled vegetables and soft drinks 4x the price of down town Budapest go here! If not go elsewhere better value is not hard to find! More pleasant staff would also help too! Won't be back!

Don't miss if you are interested how a classical Hungarian sunday family lunch looks (or used to look) like. The Jewish maces dumpling soup and sweet curd cheese dumplings (Túrógombóc) are excellent. It's worth to wait even 10-15 minutes until seated in rush hours. Good value for money.

We were taken here by our Hungarian host who lives locally. Busy and on a Thursday lunchtime was a good sign. Seated straight away and service was friendly and efficient. For three of us to eat with soft drinks, bill came to less than £15, excellent value. Large portions of tasty well cooked food.

I don't understand all the positive comments about this restaurant. The serves are very generous but the flavours are lacking. My wife ordered the Hungarian specialty - beef goulash. It was tough, grisly and lacked flavour. I had some pork .. It was only that I ordered pork that I would have known what meat I was served. Very strange.... More

Our Hungarian friends met us there for dinner. Zsuzsanna ordered for us, under one conditions from me that there would be Galuska/Nokedli involved. At no time were we prepared for the huge portions that started arriving at our table. We had pork in a cream sauce with mushrooms. Very tasty and excellently seasoned. (I can say this, I've worked as... More
