Our host lives nearby and she and her friends eat here all the time. We loved it for it's hearty food, sidewalk people watching, and decent service. Try the beef goulash, the roasted duck (enough for two), and the fish soup. Very accommodating toward the baby too. Enjoy the low prices and sit back and don't rush.

We saw the review of this restaurant in the Lonely Planet Guide and made out way there - so glad we did. The restaurant was full of locals which is usually a good sign. The food was absolutely delicious. It's making my mouth water thinking about it now. We had beef and chicken with grilled veg and a mountain of... More

I invited my friend here to dinner celebrate a holiday, so we came here and started our meal. We began with the mushroom soup, warmed our stomach , and ate the beef dishes. To be honest, the beef are definitely not the best, but considered for the price, it is okay. We had a good dinner here.

The food was very good, but our waitress rushed us to order and she wasn`t very kind so that was a big minus for us.

Our hostel recommended this restaurant for good, authentic Hungarian cuisine. We ordered the fish soup, salads, and a few beers. The fish soup was excellent (which is why we returned the next afternoon); however, the salads were smothered in dressing. That aside, this restaurant is a must-go if you are in that side of town!

Got turkey ragout with apples and prunes. Never tried anything similar. Great mix of sweet, creamy and spicy notes. One dish is enough to feed two, for sure.

We've visited Budapest 4 times over the past 6 years and were fortunate enough to discover the Pozsonyi Kisvendeglö on our first trip. Now, we only argue about how soon and how often we want to go there. We know that we need to try other restaurants, but the Pozsonyi feels like our Budapest home. Nothing seems to change -... More
