NOW CALLED Parizsi 6 Extremely convenient location Just a couple of mins from ‘Fashion Street’ and ‘Vaci Street’ – this is tucked away just enough to be popular and convenient but not overly busy. The staff were cool and kind. Food was also very good; I had their house duck dish which was splendid. This is listed as a gay... More

They have menus with soup, main dish and dessert for 12 euro (plus service tax). Very good food and atmosphere. A good value restaurant.

Was really looking forward to going back to Amstel River Cafe as It was my favourite restaurant in Budapest. I was disappointed to find it had changed to Parizsi 6 but decided to dine anyway. Had goulash soup for starter and have had better but it was still nice. Main was schnitzel and fries and floating islands for dessert. Excellent... More

I had a bit of trouble finding this cafe, since the name of the cafe seemed to be different. (Parizi 6, I think). It's a small, quaint place with modern decor. We went with our toddler who was a bit grumpy, but the staff didn't mind. While they didn't have a high chair, they were accommodating and didn't seem annoyed... More

This was the best restaurant i've ever visited in Budapest. I was visiting this city for a week and i haven't found better restaurant than this one. The service was very friendly and helpful. Dishes were just great (chicken paprika was my favourite) and very reasonably priced. If i ever visit this city again i will totally go there for... More

Looking forward to some dutch snacks after spending one month in budapest. Menu says bitterballs frikadel etc but they had none of them. Too bad but then just ordered cheap housewine (students) and fries with sauce. Sate sauce was cold but after asking they putted it back in the microwave. Not nice to see that they licked the spoon they... More

Nice little city centre place that I used to frequent when I lived here some years ago. Has a few decent representations of Hungarian cuisine. A pleasant place though not quite as good as it was.

Really nice, great food, good service and low prices comparing to vaci street restorants. 10% service fee automaticly included in the bill, though isn't mentioned in the menu.

This was around the corner from my hotel, which was handy as I'd googled gay friendly venues and this was top of the list in Budapest. That said gay or straight this was a lovely little cafe, off the main shopping street with outdoor seating, friendly staff and good cheap food. Ate there for lunch one day and went back... More

We (4 of us) took a side road and found this small restaurant. Quite a limited menu, but enhanced by specials, we asked the waiter to explain and recommend Hungarian dishes, this he did and we were very satisfied. Excellent food, good service, and great prices. two courses, plus drinks, four people £60. Recommended.
