This restaurant offers traditional hungarian food, everything was very delicious, but leg of goose with goose liver was just amazing!!! Still cant forget it!!! :-) The restaurant has tables also outside, so when its hot, it can bery very pleasant to sit there. The staff is very friendly and speaks English on a good level. Strongly recommend!!!

This was a gem of a place. Recommended by the hotel I stayed at. A quaint cheerful restaurant not far from Heroes Square. The interior is similar to that of a log cabin with big chunky tables and chairs. the menu had English translations and the staff spoke very good English as well. The food was cooked fresh and is... Our Free Tour guide, a local guy in his 20's, suggested this for good local food. It is casual, with friendly and helpful staff. Heavy, authentic Hungarian and Transylvanian food. Our waiter recommended the goose liver Hungarian style which were excellent. The veal paprikash was also very good. The food could be spicier though. Portions are large,so don't over order.... More

Casual atmosphere...good food...we were on vacation and needed to take a taxi here from our Hotel on the Danube river, but just a short ride. Wait staff are helpful, food was brought out in a timely fashion and everyone in our party enjoyed their food-there were six of us-including 2 children, 11 years old. If you are in Budapest, you... The food was fantastic after a day at the spa, only a 5-10 minute walk away and the portions were not only very tasty but very big!

I had visited Paprika a few months ago on a long week end to Budapest but never got around to writing about it: my first impressions were of good food & serviceand picturesque if a bit tacky decor... good but not great and yet it had something. On a recent trip I had a chance to visit Paprika again with... More

Just try it. Portions are good enough. Wine list excellent. Near heroes'square, Secheny Fürdo and museums' area. Try also garlic soup. It really worth a visit and it's a valid alternative to the company canteens of Vaci Utza.

During a recent trip to Hungary to visit relatives, our family decided to eat supper at this restaurant after we watched a major soccer game in Budapest [Ferencvarosi vs. Ujpest]. What a great choice! Be sure to make reservations, as this restaurant is popular, and my cousin says it is a busy place almost every night. The restaurant is located... More

The restaurant is away from the city centre but it is well worth a visit. The decor is beautiful, the food is generous and tasty. The price is reasonable and the staff were very friendly.
