Great accomodation jjnt in the central cutr square of a romantic town a few kilometers off Bled. Trafitional Slovenian and loca dishes are served, cooked toperfection by the skilled personnel. We do suggest the so called Peasant Plate, which collects most known and tasty meats, sausages and vegetables of the area. Among desserts, apple strudel is a must Great quality/cost... More

One of the best restaurants around offers a glance into slovenia's cultural and cuisine heritage. A relict of history with a pension and a museum as well. Suitable for groups, for business meetings, for events and for a romantic dinner as well. Dated in 1822, this is one of the oldest and renowned places around.. Great food, ok service, really... More

Lovely atmosphere in a place where time seems to have stopped. Very good service. Dogs are welcomed too. Food is nice and very peculiar. I tried to choose the most typical dishes. Overall a delightful experience highly recommendable if you happen to be in Radovljika

This restaurant served our party of 19 with a unique meal that included mushroom soup in a bread bowl, a crisp salad with pumpkin oil dressing, kielbasa, steak stuffed with plums, potatoes and two kinds of cole slaw, finished with apple ice cream in a hollowed out apple. The service was impeccable, the restaurant was clean and interestingly decorated. We... More

We read about this place in a guide and the authors claimed it to be the best restaurant in the area, no more no less, so we have set our expectations quite high. So I with my wife and children had a lunch here, our meals were really good (except the mushroom soup which seemed to have plenty of concentrate... More

The Farmer's Plate provides a delicious, high-quality, beautifully presented, and quite varied sampling of traditional Slovenian food. A half portion was more than enough for me. Eat in on their lovely terrace and enjoy the view while you dine.

It really saddens me to give this restaurant such a bad review after being a regular customer for over 7 years. We normally visit them once a year and always order the same main dish which is a Peasant platter for two. This used to be a massive bowl with 4-5 different types of meat, 2 pieces of each and... Could a resturant also be a museum? The answer to this question is YES. And te Lectar restaurant in Radovljica it's a proof for my statement. Located in the old town of Radovljica with more than 180 years of gastronomic tradition (the house is more than 500 years old) the place is worth visit just because of that. But Lectar... More

We rode our bicycles from Bled to have lunch at this restaurant. The hostess seated us but we never saw her again. In fact we never saw anyone again. After waiting 15 minutes or so for some one to take our drink order we left. No one seemed to notice. We were happy to take our thirst and appetite to... More
