This was a truly delightful find in Portoroz, we started with a fish soup to share as a starter, which was fresh beyond belief, followed by a great quality Seafood Risotto which was amazing, all extremely fresh and succulent. The truffle gnocchi was also outstanding. Well done, keep up the excellent quality that you are giving!

We went to Ribic second time now and were very pleased with everything. The drive there is a bit far and tricky but totally worth it as you sit under the olive trees near the sea and watch the sunset, far away from city noise. The starters are amazing, the octopus, fish and try tuna with goat cheese and honey!... More

Came here after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and it was well worth the visit. It is slightly out of town, near the salt flats but is well worth the effort. We did not need to reserve a table and were shown to one under the olive trees. The setting is lovely - next to the river and looking... More

During our short stay in Piran we visited Ribic restaurant twice as we really enjoyed the food there. Delicious fish plate for two the first day, risotto and pasta the second. Accompanied by good local wine. Beautiful 2 lunches and if I ever go to Piran/Portorose, I will visit Ribic again.

My wife and I had lunch at ribic with the parents of a friend of ours. It was our first time in Slovenia and ribic was the best way to start our stay. What a wonderful experience. The food and service were exceptional - we chose the dorada, Bronzino, and octopus cooked in the oven with veggies including fabulous wild... More

The restaurant has a beautiful setting amidst an orchard just by the sea. The food is ok, but nothing more than that. Way to expensive for what it is. Seafood soup has hardly seen anything from the sea, the pasta was ok and the desert was soggy and reheated (who knows how many times) in the microwave. Go there for... More

Food average, or even poor, service is friendly but unprofessional. Fish even close to the sea and fish farm was not fresh, the price ... no comment. I hope that my comments help to improve them.

We returned to this place six years after our first visit and were not disappointed. Great seafood, friendly service in a great location that offers a real alternative to the somewhat artificial atmosphere of Portoroz with mostly local or Italian clientele. Also a great place for sunsets!

We visited this restaurant following recommendations from Trip Advisor. It cost us €20 to get there and €20 return. The food was mediocre. The fish soup was basically stock with very little fish and one mussel in it. They had no children's menu and suggested shrimp for my son. They brought him 3 langoustines. It was difficult to get them... More

We were delighted to find this garden restaurant right along a scenic bike route. Relaxing and eating under the olive trees with a view of the water in an informal setting was a treat--as was the fact that they were open on a Sunday afternoon. Our food was delicious and beautifully presented, waiter was accommodating. I would definitely return again.
