Pavel 2 in Piran-fresh fish, sea food

We had supper on Friday at 8 pm in Pavel. Last table - probably it is safer to book the table for the evening meal. Good spaghetti calbonara and vongole mussels (round beige mussels). Good quick service. Clean place, fantastic view. Restaurant with long tradition. Fresh food.

We ate outside but there was a great view and breeze. Good choices including fresh fish with heads still attached. Chose other sea food Hard to find this place but worth searching for

Ideal location, very nice and profesional staff. Mixed feelings when it comes to food; carpaccio of sea bass as a starter was excellent but the bream or the steak were average. Good wine. It's a big and popular restaurant so waiting periods are quite long.

Situated near the sea, we have had a diner there around 3pm. The view is nice and the food was tasty and in good proportion. I have taken the grilled fish and my wife the some fried scampi. The kids have had pasta with scampi and salmon. Everything was good for a fair price. The negative point is to come... More

Pavel 2 seemed to be much quieter than the Pavel further down the peninsula but since the menu was the same we chose here to get a seat at the front looking over the sea at sunset. The staff are quite smart but it was difficult to get their attention to get the bill at the end. We got the... More

We have choosen Pavel 2 for the view that if offers when you take a seat. We've been eating a wondeful plate of grilled fished with some white wine and when we left the restaurant we agree that the choice was at 100% right, And don't think it is expensive:for three peoplle (my daughter has preferred a plate of pasta)... Friendly staff, excellent food. It is always crowded because it is very popular. It was opened 50 years ago and the owner is still working there! Scampi or lobster with spaghetti is the best! :)

We ate at Pavel 2 for dinner while in Piran. Our meal was good. The service was marginal. It seemed like our table kept getting lost among the tables around us. Everyones food arrived timely, and we waited. This kept reoccurring during out meal. When it was time to leave we had to ask three times for the bill. It... More

The place was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The food was really nice and the portions are VERY generous. Our friend ordered pasta for a starter thinking he will get a small portion but what he got was what we would consider a good sized main dish.. quality food, great service and not too expensive.

Piran is a lovely ancient seaside village and Pavel 2 is located near the lovely town square with a view of the Adriatic. The outdoor seating area is perfect: nice crisp clean linens and shining utensils, plates and glasses (the table setting was very nice) and the view is fantastic. The service started out well, but after our waitress left... More
