Great cafe vibe complimented by a tasty and generous breakfast, not much more to say. The place got very crowded while we were there, so that could be a factor when trying to get a table, but the service was quick and we had a pleasant experience. Enjoyed the Parisian look and the retro French decor, plus there are lots... More

I had brunch in this place and I found it enchanting. I had a good croque madame with French fries with a juice and an espresso coffee paying about 10 euros. Great staff! Recommended!

This restaurant is the definition of excellence. After a splendid day in Ljubljana, my friends and I had thought we had seen all the highlights. Then a local recommended Le Petit Cafe to us for dinner, saying "it's breakfasts are the best in the city however i'm not sure if they do dinner". We were game so we gave it... More

Thank you for the great review of our cafe! We work really hard to serve well and we are delighted to be marked as your Grandma's living room. However we are saddened to hear your comments about other guests, I guess it's a bitter pill in well visited cafés:) Hope to have you back soon Best regards, Katjuša More

Le Petit Cafe is next to my hotel, and on the edge of a square designed by the great Slovenian architect Joze Plecnik, who also did the fabulous National and university library right across from it. Pop in and think of Michelangelo's Laurentian Library in Florence. I dory eat lunch at LPC. Good Slovenian wines and I have had some... More

You can taste one of the best commercial teas - Taylor's - and you have a large choice of cakes and sweet. You can also buy sigars. The atmosphere is really romantic so it's a place that your girlfriend will like for sure!

Everything we had here was great: coffee, salad, egg breakfast and brunch and especially the deserts! Whenever I'm in Ljubljana this is where I would start the day.

I wanted to like this place after reading the reviews but should have paid more attention- everyone raved about breakfast but dinner was hardly mentioned. The place is nice enough and the staff pleasant but the food we got was way sub-par. My salmon ravioli was inedible, the pasta like wet cardboard and the whole mess tasting like it had... More

Dear guest, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your dinner and I appreciate your opinion. Too sad your ravioli were inedible and you consider pasta as wet cardboard, but I can assure you, all our pastas are fresh ready and we never prepare our food in advance. We usually decorate food, so I can't see why your meal was not... More

This place is supposed to have amazing breakfasts and brunches. Too bad we went for dinner. I had the gnocchi with chicken and mushrooms. Or should I say lumps of play dough with bits of chicken, thick sauce, and mushrooms. My dining companion sent his inedible ravioli back. On the plus side, the waiter could not have been nicer and... Dear guest, We appreciate your feedback and I'm sorry your dinner wasn't as you expected. For sure you were the first one who found our gnocchi as lumps of play dough and we will do our best for improvement. Best Regards, Katjuša More
