If u look for a restaurant where the locals go, then go here for simple and great Polish dishes. Low key ambience, between the old and new town...
When you come to Warsaw, the first thing you should notice is that most of the restaurants are Italian. There are a couple of strictly Polish restaurants in the general "tourist" areas of Nowy Swiat and Old/New Old Town. This place is one of them. It is great for having a coffee mid afternoon and, of course, dinner. I had... More
If in warsaw you would like to taste polish food...this is the place to be! Very very cheap but great food
Great place to take anyone wanting to try Polish food. Their menu is Polish and below each item, it is in English. Just don't enter the side door. It looks like an entrance, but it's not.
Visited this restaurant while in Warsaw at Easter. We had a great table by the front window and could watch people coming and going from the church opposite. Light snow falling and we were warm inside. The food was very good and great value. A nice Italian red wine with roast duck and bigos. Friendly service, comfortable. Recommended.

When we visited Poland, we found the cheapest beer at this place at only 9zl for 1 liter beer. If you want a nice cheap beer, go to this place (however, it might be a "low-season-price" of course).

The last meal I had was the rosol, chicken soup, roast beef, which another reviewer wrote is actually a small steak, along with the salads. The meal was excellent. For desert you... More
