I am an American living in Alicante, Spain. Years of experience traveling Europe have taught me that food in tourist areas is overpriced and generally below average. We tried to find a restaurant outside the tourist area, but the one we found couldn't handle our large group and recommended Barbakan. We sat at three tables and since we were thirsty,... More

We went to Warsaw for a city break, without much studying about the city. So during our walk at the old city we bumped at this Restaurant, which was very nice decorated with polite people as all Polish and delicious dishes at normal to cheap prices. One soup, two choices from the main courses and two beers cost us about 23€.

We were there trying to taste some traditional polish food and we found an expensive menu, a table without napkins and an awful service. We went to another restaurant after leaving the half of our food on the dishes. Totally not recommended. (We paid 3,5€ for a liter of tap water)

good for a touristic fast lunch. Good choice of polish dishes but not so well-finished. Pierogi are not the best We've tryed and soups quite poor. Prices rather convenient so it is a good place for a fast meal without great expecting

If u look for a restaurant where the locals go, then go here for simple and great Polish dishes. Low key ambience, between the old and new town...

When you come to Warsaw, the first thing you should notice is that most of the restaurants are Italian. There are a couple of strictly Polish restaurants in the general "tourist" areas of Nowy Swiat and Old/New Old Town. This place is one of them. It is great for having a coffee mid afternoon and, of course, dinner. I had... More

Great place to take anyone wanting to try Polish food. Their menu is Polish and below each item, it is in English. Just don't enter the side door. It looks like an entrance, but it's not.

Visited this restaurant while in Warsaw at Easter. We had a great table by the front window and could watch people coming and going from the church opposite. Light snow falling and we were warm inside. The food was very good and great value. A nice Italian red wine with roast duck and bigos. Friendly service, comfortable. Recommended.
