"Best Balkan cuisine in an unnamed neighborhood!"

Banja Luka is a wonderful town of sunny Bosnia. For centuries inhabited by Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks, Jews and Muslims was an example of good neighborly relations and positive mutual influence of many cultures. It's a fabulous city, destroyed by the terrible earthquake in 1969 and the subsequent war. It is for us a symbol of the Balkans, a lively mix of cultures and traditions, we want you to pass it in a casual atmosphere with a pinch of salt. We offer you delicious, a little crazy, real Balkan cuisine.
Banjaluka started in 2002 and spent 10 years in Mokotow district. After moving to the heart of the city some nightlife was added to the family-friendly attitude. The restaurant is famous for its diverse balkan cuisine, highest ingredient and dish quality and casual atmosphere. Fresh balkan menu was developed by Tadeusz Muller - Banjaluka is now a real Balkan food venue with flair for seafood and large portions of meat with the legendary 20cm Gurmanska Pljeskavica as a flag dish. The place stays open late (11PM weekdays and 12PM on weekends). During lunch and the weekend brunches Banjaluka serves fine as a centrally located balkan diner and quality time with your family an friends.

Good place to eat Balkan cevapcici

In my opinion one from the best Balkan restaurant, with great atmosphere, nice and relating to Balkan style interior. The lamb was really good.

Ok, to be honest, the interior was a little offputing for me. Uncomfortable chairs, noise. But when I tasted the first dish.... OMG! The food was delishous and it only got beter! Starters - stuffed peppers, carpaccio, cheese. Then the mains - lamb, chicken. All very well seasoned and cooked with TLC. Wonderful. I even liked the balkan sweet vodka... More

We decided to hit Banjaluka after reading about it on a magazine and finding it right next to our hostel (it's very close to Palac Kultury). It was a good choice: we had two starters, a mix of three salads and two main courses. All was abundant and very tasty, the staff was very nice to us, although they're not... More

Great atmosphere and a cool place to go mid week. I was pleasantly surprised to see a live band playing middle of the road hits from the last few decades. Good beer, food looked ok too but I didn't eat. Would absolutely come again

Balkan-style food was really delicious. The service was fine. Atmosphere in that place is great to go either with friends or for a date. Served portions are really huge and the quality of food is awesome. Live Gypsy-style music makes that place to be more than just another restaurant on the Warsaw-food map.

Banja Luka serves Bosnian-style food, such as cevapcici, and is a well turned-out and comfortable restaurant. The food, drink and service were excellent. The location is good, too, off the main street of Swietokrzyska, though you'd need to know it was there to find it. The live musicians were slightly annoying, playing western tunes somewhat badly - I'd rather have... More
