"Best Balkan cuisine in an unnamed neighborhood!" Banja Luka is a wonderful town of sunny Bosnia. For centuries inhabited by Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks, Jews and Muslims was an example of good neighborly relations and positive mutual influence of many cultures. It's a fabulous city, destroyed by the terrible earthquake in 1969 and the subsequent war. It is for us a symbol of the Balkans, a lively mix of cultures and traditions, we want you to pass it in a casual atmosphere with a pinch of salt. We offer you delicious, a little crazy, real Balkan cuisine. Banjaluka started in 2002 and spent 10 years in Mokotow district. After moving to the heart of the city some nightlife was added to the family-friendly attitude. The restaurant is famous for its diverse balkan cuisine, highest ingredient and dish quality and casual atmosphere. Fresh balkan menu was developed by Tadeusz Muller - Banjaluka is now a real Balkan food venue with flair for seafood and large portions of meat with the legendary 20cm Gurmanska Pljeskavica as a flag dish. The place stays open late (11PM weekdays and 12PM on weekends). During lunch and the weekend brunches Banjaluka serves fine as a centrally located balkan diner and quality time with your family an friends.

Good food at reasonable prices

Liked the food, but portions could be a bit bigger. Live music of good quality, but impossible to have a conversation except during their breaks, which is a bit annoying during dinner. Would recommend it nonetheless.

We decided to go to this restaurant as we hadn't been since it had moved from Pulawska. We remembered such good culinary moments in this folkoric and family kind of restaurant. So we went to this new one, at first, it looks like many restaurants/bars which are sprouting out in Warsaw. Lack of character or defined identity (atmosphere). We ordered... More

We went today for lunch expecting some new flavours in a modern space. Its not. The place is dark, the service poor and the food totally mediocre. Not recomended at all.

I was here with colleagues, very persuasive waitress in terms of offering dishes. Tartar was good but not as good as in Starij dom. Food variety is interesting especially in cold dishes platters. Dessert mousse was nothing special

During a long layover in Warsaw, we decided grab late lunch/early dinner at Banjaluka. It is located in the basement so inherently the rooms are on a darker side but the (interesting) décor and ambient light make the place quite cozy. The menu was extensive with what appeared was mainly meat dishes. I was not able to keep up with... More

I booked a table for 10 for my friends birthday here and it had a great atmosphere! The waiter was really great and spoke good english. Unfortunately the food was a real let down! There weren't many vegetarian options so I had the burger which just didn't taste good. My friends said the meat wasn't very good either and that... More

it is amazing how fast good restaurant can go to the dogs... few years ago they were awarded the best Balkan restaurant in Warsaw prize... but nowadays it disappeared ... as soon as you are indoors you want to escape... because the noise gives you a huge punch in your face ... mainly it is provoked by the musicians, who... With former chef in previous location it used to be a very good spot, with nice portions and tasty food. Nowdays things are different. Taste is only a bit over the average and everything is overpriced. Dishes lack originality. Rude and busy service convicted us not to visit Banjaluka again.
