Description: In Japan it is said that the most beautiful flower is the sakura flower...
In Japan it is said that the most beautiful flower is the sakura flower, or simply the cherry, and that the best man is the samurai. If one were to look at Japanese cuisine however, it can be said without a doubt that the tastiest and most renowned display of culinary art in this country is sushi. Our first restaurant Izumi sushi, which we have been running with passion since 2006, is located on ul. Mokotowska 17 on plac Zbawiciela in Warsaw. Izumi means water spring in Japanese; that which gives life to something new. This character is written with two ideograms, which symbolize white water, bubbling and gushing forth from its source. We chose this name, because we wish to introduce real and truly delicious sushi on Polish soil; sushi, which by its taste allows our Guests to discover and understand the beauty blooming in the simplicity of the Japanese kitchen.

Izumi is well known for sushi in Poland, perhaps their best location being Bialy Kamien, and of course, after a successful restaurant, you can expect others to follow (like their new one in Galeria Mokotow), but like the first one, your would expect at least to have the same quality and service...well, their "Izumi Japanese Grill & Street Food" falls... It's my favourite suchi place (in fact, now a small network with 3 places to visit). In Warsaw and outside. Key thing to remember: do not stay at the table and do not order some "set" there. Sit at the bar or go to the sushi masters, tell them what you like, ask them about new off-the-menu dishes and let... More

Decent place, nothing extraordinary. Elegant atmosphere, good service, not overpriced. Very good kimchi, sushi is really nothing extra but also not bad.

This sushi restaurant is considered one of the best in town. But sushi here are just average, while prices are high - last time I spent more than 250 zloty for two, no alcohool. I know better and less expensive sushi places like Kaya Sushi at Ciepla street or Nippon-Kan at Nowogrodzka (although the latter is a restaurant, not a... More

First and foremost. I review Izumi Sushi Pl. Zbawiciela. There are many reviews here for Izumi Biały Kamień which is from what I read much more classy. These should be separated. I hope Tripadvisor team will take notice. I visited Pl. Zbawiciela Izumi several times in the course of the last 6 years and I can see a constant downhill... More

The quality of the sushi here is high, and the rice tastes more authentic than most of the sushi places in Warsaw, as here we have real Japanese involved, as well as Poles who have trained in Japan. The price is relatively high, which is fair given the high quality, but I was put off it one day when I... More

This is certainly a place with great sushi. I also advise to visit their other restaurant on Bialy Kamien 4 due to the "palm forest" setting. Yes the place is a little more expensive than other sushi restaurants but it is worth the money. In my personal ranking they are placed on second giving a slight edge to Sakana sushi.

Each time we go to Izumi we are satisfied - very good quality & taste & "visual effects", the waiters are polite and helpful, the only thing which could be improved is time - we always wait a little bit too long. The Place is very nice and we will surely come back.

Very nice location - in the old palmier. You think you are sitting in the forest or in the garden. That's all i can say positive. Service - rather focus on themselves. I have been there several times and always had some issue. Also with the food...Do not expect to get the wine you are interested in - the wine... More
