good golonka

I would qualify this restaurant as a men type :) if you are a meat lover, then this is your place. They serve the best golonka (knuckle) i ate ever, and you may have also other meat oriented meal, quite well done. The beer - pilzner, very nice and vodka also OK. So if you don't care of diet too... read more

Finally a restaurant in Warsaw where the staff are attentive to their guests needs & wants. We arrived and were seated straight away luckily for us as it is always very busy. The starters were lovely, I had the goulash soup and my wife had zurek soup, both were fantastic. For mains we both had pierogi, equally tasty also and... More

Not typically Polish cousine, rather Austro-Hungarian. But very very tasty! You have tons of food on your plate and they will not rip you off.

The food is good if you like the Bavarian/Polish kitchen as we do. The portions are very big. As starters we had the carpaccio of salmon and the beef carpaccio. These were very good. Also the main courses, the schnitzel and the highlander robber pancake were good but a lot of food. The negative thing is that the restaurant does... More

After looking for a tipical polish food restaurant more into the center of old town, we found this restaurant.... and we've got an excellent experience. Very nice restaurant, excellent food, huge quantity, very affordable prices. The best meal we've took on our 2015 vacations.

The location and decor in "bavarian" style make this place worth to stop by. Live music, gargantuan portions of Polish dishes, reasonable prices, friendly waiters and lots, lots of people. Food quality is average and avoid at any cost lemon-flavored Wòdka, nonetheless this place tries hard to be liked and it makes it.

Very very big portions. If you are not big eaters you can easy share between two. Very good food and atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Must reserve seats otherwise you don't get inn.

First of all go early or book a table because you shall find a huge queue ! Order the mix plateau and the pork leg! Do not order many dishes, because you will not be able to eat them. A must Warsaw destination!

While ordering always remember that potions are enormous! Tried the local meat plate and ZUREK! This is the local soup, served in small red pots. You can sit both outside and inside! Highly recommended and definitely will come back!

Following a walk through the Old City of Warsaw, four of us visited Podwale Kompania Piwna for dinner. The previous year, I had the opportunity to visit a sister restaurant in Krakow, and had an excellent dinner. Here, we had a variety of good dishes, from pork knuckles, ribs, Argentinian steak, and duck. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating,... More
