Lovely atmosphere and yummy food

The waiter was great - responsive and swift with great English and good suggestions. Experienced and professional. Sat outside enjoying the quiet road and the street chatter. The food was lovely and hit the spot just right. Lovely spot - would highly recommend.

this is my favourite place In Warsaw for salad Nicoise usually followed by sweet 'Racuchy' - apples dipped in delicate pastry and fried. Since I try to keep my weight stable ;) I do my best to eat them every second time.

Just a short walk from our hotel (Polonia Palace) our group had a fun dinner here. Once a gatherng place for those working clandestinely for Radio Free Europe during the Soviet days. The place is decorated eccentricly in old posters from Soviet times -- all showing the rapacious Yankees as servants of Fascism. The food is good and home-cooked by... More

Great food, including cold beet soup and stuffed cabbage rolls. Very good, friendly service with a cozy ambience. Patio service was available, but it was a bit too cool to sit outside.

This restaurant is located just around the block from the Marriott and the central train station. It offers traditional Polish food, but has good english translations on the menu. Food is solid if not spectacular. The decor is unpretentious and welcoming. Good enough that we went twice.

Waiting staff were friendly and attentive - they served us with professionalism and flair. You can tell that the establishment is serious and passionate about customer service. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. Żurek and mushroom soup were good but a bit bland. My friend ordered roasted duck (recommended by the waiter) and it was a little dry though... More

Food was very good ( we tried the grilled sausage with fried onion, dumplings with white cheese & potato, pork chop Polish style) and the apple pie was excellent (the whipped cream/ice-cream was not my taste) the environment difficult to describe, sure it was unique, full with history and memories, too full though for a place you eat and sit... I've been there for breakfast with a group of colleagues and they serve a buffet that is quiet poor. They just pulled out bread and salami out of a bag in front of us. The fried and scrambled eggs though were really good. The staff is king and polite.

Had 2 meals here and 1 breakfast. Food was superb and the pork knuckle was a special treat. Very interesting decor with lots of memorabilia. Staff were excellent. Even if you are full after the main course go for the Apple Pancakes. Wonderful. Yes as some have said tables are close together but not a problem. Just adds to the... More
