Ranked #8 of 1,101 restaurants in Warsaw
Certificate of Excellence 2014
Cuisines: Polish
Dining options: Reservations, Late Night
Description: This is an incredible new restaurant opened by the ex-head chef of the Amber Room. He serves modern Polish molecular cuisine, served in degustation style. It is the kind of food that blows your mind with every bite - Michelin Star on it's way, without a doubt. It is a so-far little known restaurant that is quickly gaining popularity in the city, and I am sure that if you add it to the list, it will be at the top in no time! We have been here numerous times, and will keep coming back.

Very interesting menu consisting of "moments" - we visited this place on Friday and we had to have menu consisting of 8 moments + some additional appetisers, and choice of wine recommended by the sommelier. If you like molecular kitchen and plays with different tastes this is the place for you. Outstanding meals based on Polish fresh ingredients. You will... More

My second visit to Amaro and again a great experience on every level! An excellent and a very competent service gives you a short introduction before every single dish and every single portion of wine (or a selection of Polish spirits) is served and is happy to answer your questions about it. The menu can be accompanied by a wine... More

Well-deserved of its Michelin star. Had the 8 course tasting menu which was just the right amount of food as the courses (actually 12) are very small. Some superb dishes; one or two less to my liking (eg turbot dish) but overall a great experience and really good to sample creative polish style cuisine. We als had the "Polish spirit"... More

We had a very good ~7 course menu, which was just fine, the wine was nice, but yes, it was "just fine" and nothing more. If I got to a restaurant like this (>100€) i gotta compare it to others i've been into and i gotta say among my limited experience in gourmet places (probably around 10) this one was... More

It's the best restaurant in Poland now. The tasting menu consists of 3 or 5 or 8 'moments', each of them being a culinary masterpiece - usually it's 'when nature meets science', so natural (grown on their own farm) ingredients cooked to very modern, fancy and experimental even (molecular gastronomy included) way. Plus some 'before-moments' and 'after-moments' on the house.... More

The food and staff was incredible - for me; the perfect evening - every "moment" was a journey in taste and visual expression. This is art. And because we expressed our enjoyment and how overwhelmed we were, we got to met the artist behind it too - the chef. The waiters were absolutely amazing - they even followed us to... More

Perhaps we are getting a bit bored of the whole Noma-style gastro experience, but this felt too dragged out and some dishes fell short of expectations. Certain dishes were truly excellent though, and I suppose every capital needs a restaurant of this style to compete at the Michelin level. Service was excellent, and the pairing of Polish spirits is a... More

Good experience. Creative ideas. A little too exaggerated in form. Still wonder why I've got two "amuse bouche". It's like the Chef has lost the whole concept of it (or the waiter just mixed the terminology). One of these was a "peach" basically made out of the real piece of pear sprayed with edible colourings. Too artificial to be really... More
