There are several Japanese restaurants in this area and I tried 3 of them so far. This is not the best. It is located in a kind of an alley and when I passed it, I thought it was closed. No one to see. When I checked again, I noticed 2 cookes at the back of the restaurant. I tried... More

The place was chosen after viewing very positive reviews. However we were shocked not to see a single visitor at 5 pm Friday evening in the very center of the city. We were not really allowed to chose a table being the only visitors there (when we left restaurant was empty as well). The food was good, but overpriced. Service... More

I know this restaurant for a couple of years. This really is a genuine Japanese cuisine, run by a Japanese person. They could care a bit more about the atmosphere (music, interior), but the food is authentic. I have been to Japan and can confirm it. The choice is rich, just as in Japanese places. The service was always kind... More

I have spent time in Japan because of my job, and Nippon Kan is incredibly true to the original. A bit pricey for Warsaw but well worth it. Food is simply outstanding if you like real Japanese and the place is also a real reproduction of a Japanese place.

I used to be frequent visitor at this place for a number of years (probably since around early 2004) and I have spent a lot of money with business clients there. It is very conveniently located around my work. Alas a couple of my last visits convinced me that I need to terminate our relationship and look for something new.... More

I was looking for original Japanies restaurant run by Japanies. I found the place after short walk and when I entered it was completly empty so I even ask them wether it is opened. Place hes no atmosphere (no even Japan's music). The food was disaster - sushi rice overcooked. I think the Japanies sushi maker (definitely not sushi Master)... More

I've been here couple times. In the past this place was more authentic Japanese restaurant, but now they serve anything from dim-sum to tom jim soup, all cooked by non-Japanese chefs, totally lost it concept. Food is definitely not outstanding and service is extremely poor. Waiter took wrong order and brought something completely different, although we told him that we... More

Catering to the Japanese Embassy and to the office of President of the Republic, Nippon-kan could boast of 100% approval rate by the local Japanese community and could possibly chargé you premium prices, which they don't. If you compare quality / price of Nippon-kan with the other "Japanese" restaurants in Europe, after the meal, you would surely feel like leaving... More
