I had a quite lunch at Platter. Especially, the mushroom soup and the duck were delicious. Rest of the starters were just OK.

We ate in the Hotel because of terrible cold. We are satisfied from service and food quality. My husband liked duck . Plate was nicely done. My dessert similar to mille feuille was average.

Was recommended by a local who suggested this hreat venue at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw's city center. We went there with above average expectations. We loved the concept and the food. An open kitchen with a great selection of wine. A menu from which you choose 2 or 3 course menu from a selection of appetizers, mini platters, soups,... More

Staying at the Intercontinental hotel I was planning to have a steak but the hotel's DOWNTOWN reastaurant was closed. It was a stroke of luck for I went to dine at the other of the hotel's restaurants PLATTER. One word: ourstanding. The decor, the plates (or rather trenchers), the music. For starters I had goose carpaccio with trouffle souce and... More

I have been eating here twice, once as sole guest once as couple. Both times the service is very good. But what else would you expect from such a restaurant in such a nice hotel.? The serving of the meals is also nice, coz they are using many stylish plates and all other fancy stylish things around. First time I... More

Nice setting, fairly chic restaurant in Intercontinental Hotel. The food is good but frankly, there are 20 better places around at a fraction of price. Fish soup is interesting but other dishes are well too complex, as if quantity and diversity of ingredients was there to hide lack of invention of the chef (who, incidentally, after leaving his name on... Expensive.. great quality but not excellent. Couldn't help feeling they try to copy one good restaurant in the City... But the Piano was great!

Stunningly good food and service. It's not especially cosy but the super food was the most important factor. Bit pricy.

I like to test restaurants recommended by TA, and this was a test if Platter deserved a top score compared to the price. The price was 10 times what I payed yesterday for a very good meal, and about 50% of what a similar meal in Norway would cost. The starter and the main course was on par with what... More
