On our first night in Warsaw after an overnight train, asked the front desk at the apartment complex where the best local restaurant was. They recommended "The Mexican" next door at Ul. Zgoda 6. Lots of people in the restaurant, a couple of parties in progress with gigantic flavored margaritas. Décor was bad 50's movie kitch. Service was very good,... More

I visited this restaurant with my friends on June when I had my 25th b-day :D the stuff did a great surprise as I got piece of choco cake with candles for FREE! :D they also sang me 'happy birthday' song (polish version - sto lat). The restaurant itself is very well arranged, maybe not so each but quality of... More

I live on the same street as The Mexican and visited a few weeks ago on the way home from work. The restaurant was fairly quiet and there were quite a few staff working, but despite this I had to repeatedly go to find a waiter to ask for menus and for them to take an order. It took an... More

The only positive reviews are from folks that obviously havent been to Mexico or Texas. The food doesnt resemble Mexican. It might be tasty, but if you're not expecting cabbage on everything you might just walk out. Friendly enough staff once you can get their attention - ie., order 2 drinks right off the bat....

My partner and I travel a lot, and we have this unique travel challenge: to try out Mexican or Chinese in every city we visit to see what it's like. For example, we've had Mexican in Denmark and Chinese in Argentina. (In Argentina, your Chinese meal will start out with bread... My Argentinean friends hated Chinese places in the US... More

A small, rather informal restaurant close to the Old Town. It is placed in a cellar, but on warm days there are tables in the patio and this is definitely the best place to sit, with an ambience of a taverna. There is live music (mix of standard mexican "hits"), nice waiters (sometimes shooting in the air) and colourful lights.... More

It is one of the coolest places in Wroclaw, where to eat and spend time with friends. Taste of food remains consistently high, but attention - the focus of dishes can be very high:). The decor is great, colorful, a little trashy ... good service, typically beautiful Mexican seniority and excellent idea for a cheesecake Zorro - which is especially... More

This place is just a few steps from the Old Town barbicane, in a cellar under one of the nearby buildings. It serves proper quality Mexican-style food (mostly tex-mex), sometimes with "special effects" like a Zorro-like guy shooting his (fake) gun into the air to the appropriate tune (i think it's for the "explosive dessert", which has a burning fuse... If you want to try Margarita strawberry you've never had in your life, go to The Mexican in Warsaw, Podwale street. In this restaurant it has nothing to do with tequilla - it's a mix of strawberry concentrate juice & ice. I was far away of argument as just wanted to relax with friends there so only asked the waiter... More
