Great Desserts

Batida was one of our first stops in Warsaw. They have a large selection of individual cakes, making it very difficult to choose just one. We managed to resolve the issue by sharing 3 between 2, along with some great coffees. Well worth a stop.

Stopped for coffee and cake. As stated by other reviewers the service was very slow. Not quite sure why as there were not many people in there! Cake was good though and coffee ok.

We went there for a business lunch in the middle of the week. Place was quite full but there were still free tables. After we had sat we were waiting over 25 minutes for someone to come at the table and ask for the order. The only reason we've stayed there was that we were quite busy talking so we... More

We visited for lunch today & had a full hour to spend there. We ordered soup & a sandwich each straight from the menu. The place was not busy. After 55 minutes I got up to say forget about the sandwich as we had to go. It silmultaneousky arrived & we got a take away. But too little too late.

Charmy elegant place with nice furniture and chandeliers. It offers very nice and tasty lunch from Monday to Friday in lunch time which is called "Luch of a Day" (Lunch Dnia) with 2 options and very attractive prices! You can find such good offers in several places in Warsaw that have more expensive dinner menu and a la carte menu... More

Located in the center of Warsaw, in one of the main squares. It has a great baroque interior. Food is excellent, and the price is quite low for the quality. They have their own bakery, so the sweets are home made. And they are masters in cakes. Lemon tarte with merinque - is a masterpiece. Just the sunday brunch is... More

We organised a birthday party for 12 child at Home. Rather to order 2 cakes for 8 persons the laddy offeed us to order 1 cake for 16 persons. We asked to our friend to pick up the cake at the shop. When we opened the cake box at home we realised but too late that the cake was really... More

You'd think poland is the last place you would experience racism but wow... Traveling with my Indian family we experienced it and how. 3.45 on a Sunday afternoon we waited for 15 minutes to be seated with no avail. My husband then proceeded to the hostess who relegated us to the second floor. There we met with a ruder hostess... More

The cakes are the best we had so far during our Poland tour. I recommend anything. Prices are more expensive than other places and the staff is not that nice and polite. But other than that I recommended especially for the cakes, birthday cakes and some great bread!

Since I'm used to travel to Warsaw for personal reasons, I've elected this place (the Batida in Krakowskie Przedmieście, not in Marszalkowska) as my personal best, a mandatory stop every time I go to the city center. It has been the same this year: we went on January, the 6th and maybe this has been a mistake, since it was... More
