We had a lunch there and opted for oven baked dumplings which were really good. I would say the restaurant proposes traditional dishes in a revisited way. An interesting experience combined with very good service and short waiting time. I recommend.

6 of us were looking for somewhere to eat and, luckily, stumbled on the Chatka Babuni accidentally, which saved us a lot more walking! The place was very busy and we had to wait a (very) short while till a table for 6 was found upstairs and we were guided around the options (for Pierogis - dumplings, boiled or baked).... More

Very nice ambiance, good choice of various traditional Slavic (Polish, Russian, Ukrainian) dishes, amazingly delicious pierogis although service could be faster/friendlier. The place is very popular among locals & tourists, so be prepared for a long wait unless you book a table in advance.

I visited Chatka Babuni several times during my stays in Poznan and never have been disappointed. Their speciality are Pierogies served boiled or baked - both ways delicious! The place is very busy so sometimes you have to wait a few minutes but no longer than 10 - it's worth it to wait!!!

I think my mom makes the best pierogi, but there are almost that tasty. Lot of choices so you can find your favorite. When next time i will go home i will visit that place for sure.

This is a great place for trying pierogies in Poznan. Very tasteful atmosphere, fresh and flavourful dishes. The restaurant was busy when we visited, so service was good but not impressive. However, our server was comfortable with English, the food came out reasonably quickly; we had a large group and we all enjoyed our experience. I'd definitely recommend it to... More

Very cosy, local cuisine restaurant. Good prices and great quality food. Order a combination of both boiled and baked dumplings, portions are rather large so check other tables before making up your mind.

Strongly recommend dumplings from oven. Nice atmosphere, styled on old polish cottage. Right in the city center.

I had a very bad experience int his restaurant. I went there twice as it was arranged by my work. The restaurant was informed that I follow a vegan diet, To be precise, they were informed also about the meaning pf the word "vegan". The first day I was served tomato soup and salad. The tomato soup was basically some... More

This restaurant has a nice decoration (even the toilets are beautiful and worthy to see, really). You will find many options in the menu and also you can choose different pierogi and mix them. The ones made in the oven are quite big. I have been there several times and the only negative aspect is that sometimes it's crowded and... More
