Amazing!

Went there for Valentines day with my boyfriend. The atmosphere was amazing, we were completely unrushed. The wine selection was very good and the one we've chosen went so well with our steaks which were cooked perfectly well. There was a bit of a mix up with the cheese board, as it was listed in... read more

Touring around the Old Town Square stopped here for some soup and beer. The Sour soup with Rye enhancements was quite good in a bread bowl. The Beef soup we also had was tasty. Beer was cold and fresh and the ambiance was very nice. For soup and beer they get a very good can not comment further but if... More

We ate here for the 19zlt lunch special which was advertised out the front. We were seated and given menus and were instantly shocked at the prices. We had to ask for the lunch special and felt embarrassed to have to ask. The waitress didn't know them and had to go and ask the cook what the special for the... More

I try to get the essence of traditional kitchen when i have the opportunity. This time in Poland i tried many local dishes and restaurants. This was the best of them. Good service, good taste, upscale yet affordable. Really good duck. Specially breed for this restaurant. Good version of the traditional Zurek soup in bread bowl.

This was one of the very first restaurants in Poznan and it had its reputation for being expensive and for being a place to be seen. I know the restaurant had few owners, but you can still expect good service, good food and good atmosphere.

The service was fantastic, the ambiance a bit romantic, the food and wine simply stunning--by far best meal I've had in Poznan. And EXCELLENT value...I could eat here every night; except I would gain 5 kilos in a week!! I wish I had known about the lower level seating; as we were seated in the front near the window. And... While visiting Poznan just before Christmas I wanted to take my family, who I hadn't seen for a few years, out for supper. There were so many choices but I went with the traditional Polish cusine with a modern twist and at the end of the evening was very happy with my decison. The restaurant has an amazing, welcoming feeling... More

I believe a restaurant should be judged by the "experience" of the visit. With that in mind, I would have to say this restaurant does not deserve it's current rating. The location, decor, and food presentation could not be faulted. Unfortunately, the evening was let down by the poor service.Though the initial introduction was very friendly, I found the waiter... We ate twice at Ratuszova during our stay in Poznan. Both meals were excellent but I was especially impressed by the lunch specials on the 2nd day. I don't think I have ever had food that well cooked, superbly served and presented at such a reasonable price. The staff everywhere in Poznan were helpful and friendly, however the service here...
