The Ratuszova Restaurant kindly invites all visitors of Poznan who are keen on tasting traditional Polish cuisine. Some of our specialties include soup of duck with soft, homemade noodles, roasted duck with apples as well as venison dishes. All enthusiasts of Slow Food culture, aficionados of healthy eating and gourmets of unique flavours are recommended to try our special dishes prepared with the innovative Sous Vide method. Also, as it is our priority to make our guests feel at home, our menu has been enriched with classic dishes of international cuisine. As much as we embrace innovation and experiment in our seasonal dishes and decor, we also remain consistent in maintaining high quality of all our base ingredients, selecting exlusively original products to create our menu. Assisting you in your culinary adventure is professional and amiable staff, right there to make your visit a truly unforgettable experience. This was one of the very first restaurants in Poznan and it had its reputation for being expensive and for being a place to be seen. I know the restaurant had few owners, but you can still expect good service, good food and good atmosphere.

The service was fantastic, the ambiance a bit romantic, the food and wine simply stunning--by far best meal I've had in Poznan. And EXCELLENT value...I could eat here every night; except I would gain 5 kilos in a week!! I wish I had known about the lower level seating; as we were seated in the front near the window. And... While visiting Poznan just before Christmas I wanted to take my family, who I hadn't seen for a few years, out for supper. There were so many choices but I went with the traditional Polish cusine with a modern twist and at the end of the evening was very happy with my decison. The restaurant has an amazing, welcoming feeling... More

I believe a restaurant should be judged by the "experience" of the visit. With that in mind, I would have to say this restaurant does not deserve it's current rating. The location, decor, and food presentation could not be faulted. Unfortunately, the evening was let down by the poor service.Though the initial introduction was very friendly, I found the waiter... We ate twice at Ratuszova during our stay in Poznan. Both meals were excellent but I was especially impressed by the lunch specials on the 2nd day. I don't think I have ever had food that well cooked, superbly served and presented at such a reasonable price. The staff everywhere in Poznan were helpful and friendly, however the service here... Myself and some colleagues chose this restaurant as it had the look of a really nice traditional Polish restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The internal ambience of the restaurant is lovely, we sat downstairs in the cellar area and it was really cosy and welcoming. The food we had for both myself and my colleagues was very tasty. We... It's said that a sign of expertise is negative knowledge. What this means is that instead of focusing on the things you're doing right and rewarding those behaviours, you focus on what's being done wrong. I'm terms of service and dining experience within Poznan, Ratuszova can certainly be considered experts. In particular, Pan Chef, Arek, and Jola are to be... More

Had dinner there this evening with my colleague. We thouroughly enjoyed it. We took the Polish soup in the bread bowl, hunter's steak and amaretto ice cream for dessert. The soup was interesting and filling, the steak was very tasty, nicely cooked (i prefer medium) with quite a few sides (i especially liked the mushrooms). The ice cream was delicious,... More
